We recently visited Backyard BBQ in Lafayette, TN, all the way from Maine, and we were delighted by the distinct local flavors. The BBQ here is noticeably different but absolutely delicious. What stood out most was the friendly service; the staff made us feel right at home, and the service was impressively quick. Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just passing through, this spot is a must-try for authentic Southern barbecue.
I passed a BBQ called "Pit Stop" in town that was jam-packed with the lunch crowd, and a few miles farther on I rolled past this spot. The smoker out back was billowing, and the parking lot was pretty full...so I turned around and headed back.It's an "order at the counter and come get it" place - no waitresses. The menu is chalked on the wall to the right, with prices listed including the tax which is kinda cool. Good selection including the obligatory...
Everything was delicious!
But the customer service was GREAT!
Was just passing through and found this on our Gluten Free app. Notified the chef we were gluten free, and he let us know there’s a dedicated fryer and gave recommendations!
