Amazing restaurant with a full sized bar. I got the mega chimichanga with steak and it was perfect. Real authentic Mexican food. Lafayette doesn’t have many options for good food so I am very happy this place opened and will be going back and telling all my friends as well.
I got to say, when I left Macon County several years ago... The restaurant that was in place of Don Tequila was nothing of the caliber that I experienced today. Mainly the aesthetics of the restaurant, but still the old restaurant staff and food was good. The staff was second to none before, they are still on par with that now. We stopped here for an early lunch. The lunch crowd hadn't arrived yet. Service was fast and friendly. We both had tacos which were fresh and mildly seasoned the way we like them.
