Worst dining experience in 60 years. No longer an issue, as they’ve predictably gone out of business.

Where do I start…. Paper plates for our appetizers, solo cups for our drinks? What? Cold steak, cold mash potatoes. We had a party of 10, and only one dish was perfect which was the last one. I got FIVE green beans as a side? But the worst thing was that when we got our check the waitress said tip was NOT included so we left a good tip, only to see that a 20% tip was already included so for the service we got she got the best tip ever! Sadly I would not recommend this place.

Went on 14 Feb 2024, got right in and order placed and we waited 45 minutes and still no salad, waitress never stopped by the table to ask if everything was okay or no explanation of what was taking so long. There were only about 5 other tables in there when we got there, so it wasn’t like they were really busy. Worst experience ever and will never return. I only gave them a 1 star cause there was no option for 0 stars.. Do not recommend..We ended leaving before we got our meal and went elsewhere.

I so wish I would have thought to get pictures. However, this Valentine’s Day dinner was an epic flop!!! They had 5 tables just get up and walk out. The service was horrible. We decided to hang in there and regret the decision. We paid $75 for an appetizer, an Italian dish and a ribeye steak, although great flavor, looked like it came from the Waffle House. It was NOT 12 oz. I wish I had a scale too. It was so thin and so much fat on it as well. Husband ordered the Chicken Carbonara. It came with zero sauce on it and then they brought the sauce to the table. We poured it on it and it was disgusting!!! Not even worth eating so we didn’t. Except for the few bites we sampled. As for our salads, we first ordered ranch. They make it from scratch. Looked like brown mayo and OMGoodness it was so salty it made your tongue raw. Let me end with, we have been here before and had great experience. It seems it has gone down hill. So sad. We really need a good steakhouse. If you’re wanting a steak though I would recommend Grecians. The price and steak MUCH BETTER!!! EPIC FAIL for this steakhouse.

We were there 20 minutes to get our drinks. After we were there approximately 40 we got our salad with no silverware. After an hour we got our steaks that the waitress had put in to be cooked wrong. Baked potato would not melt butter and steak was cold. I sent my steak back twice before I finally turned it down and didn't want it. Needless to say, we won't be going back and this was our first time.

Mediocre food and small portions, way overpriced for what you receive. Owner has ran two food businesses into the ground before this and can clearly see why. You’d be money ahead to just go to Grecians.

My wife and I had a very good dining experience here at Gentry’s Steakhouse, after church this afternoon. 02/04/2024. 12:50pm.This was our first time to patronize this restaurant, and we chose to dine in. We both ordered the centered cut pork chops w/Raspberry Chili Glaze. We were both extremely satisfied with the presentation of our food and just as satisfied with its preparation and taste. The price was fair. No complaints for the quantity and quality of food that we received.Honestly, the best part of our dining experience was our server. Chelsea C.She quickly met us at the door and had us seated as soon as we walked in. She quickly and efficiently took our orders and checked on us several times. Her attitude and engagement in speaking with us was a breath of fresh air. Thank you Gentry’s and Chelsea for making our dining experience a pleasant one.

Me and my wife went there a while back and tried a hamburger and mac and cheese. The burger was mediocre and the mac and cheese was quite disgusting but we were told it was very good by the waitress since we had never ate there before. So we decided to try it again [big mistake], and only this time ordered steak at approximately 3pm and was told that they were not serving steak until like 4 or 5 [unsure of exact time], but she would check to see if they could and we were told no. I have never been to a steak house or any restaurant where they don't serve what they have whether it is lunch or dinner and have always been able to order what we want. Maybe they have a steak shortage, I don't know. The inside is also subpar with weak tables and chairs and quite of a drab boring feeling.

Parking: Adequate and available all hours of day.

I came on a night they were short staffed but still had a great experience I understand staffing and training issues and they did a great job of keeping everything movingVery attentive service and the chicken and Brussels sprouts were greatNo doubt I’ll return for another meal here

Ordered medium rare & Got well done flap of meat the that looked like a minute steak. we did not eat the food and told the manager that we wanted to just pay for the drinks and leave and when we did she laughed at us and told us that their steaks were always horrible cuts and and she doesn't blame us . 23.99 for a five dollar

We had a good meal and nice conversation with the owner. It was not very busy at all but we were also able to reserve our table online. Favorite appetizer (panko gouda) was not available but we will definitely return!
