Crockett's Mill Restaurant Reviews
So normally it goes without saying if you show up early, within reason, and your spot is empty you may occupy. I showed up two hours early my spot was empty and the only way they would let me in is if I paid for the prior day. Lastly, I was stopped by a Ranger who told me I was not allowed to ride my OneWheel. Another person in our party was brought home by the same Ranger for riding his Rip Stick, he was 12. Totally not a kid friendly park. Just think it is ridiculous and outdated....read full review
I love the park! But your strict 3pm check in that you all have put into place is AWFUL! I’m literally watching people have to park in parking places when their spots are empty! This policy needs to be changed asap or you WILL lose guest me included!
It is a beautiful park. My wife and I camp here often as we enjoy the abundant wildlife, peace and tranquility the park has to offer. The park also offers many thing to do, the little museum, nature trails, bike trails, the lake. Campsites are spacious We also enjoy dining at Crockett Mills Restaurant, the food is delicious. One of our favorite parks to visit

Crockett's Mill Restaurant offers a quaint setting overlooking David Crockett Lake. Guests can enjoy delicious family-style meals like fish and chips with sweet potato fries and fried okra. The staff is efficient and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While the Sunday breakfast buffet is no longer available, the limited menu still serves up delicious food served hot and fresh. The restaurant is open on Friday and Saturday evenings during the summer season, providing visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and watch the deer graze. The desserts, including the fried apple pie and ice cream, bread pudding, funnel cake fries, and cookies and cream, are described as fabulous and delicious.
