Rick's Barbecue Reviews
I'm sorry Rick Lanning, even though we know each other, it's not great. Your employees really just don't care. The toast should be buttered and evenly grilled on each side. The meat and sour cream should be evenly portioned on the potato skins. You shouldn't add 1 pound of ham on a Ham and Cheese. The Nachos are just terrible. All the cheese on the bottom, stacks of chips lined up in the tray with nothing on them. Even the strips in your snack pack, over cooked and old oil. The...read full review
Tonight was our 1st time eating at Rick's BBQ & the food was delicious & service was fantastic! We both had the pulled pork plates & love the BBQ sauce! The pork was seasoned & smoked to perfection! The fried pickles were delicious & the Chicken Stew was perfect! We want to give a shout out to Anna who was absolutely amazing & shared local culture and places to visit (we are traveling from Glasgow, KY) & we truly appreciate her kindness & excellent recommendations! Rick's Barbecue offers a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The pork-loaded potato is a popular dish, so big that it can be shared and still leave leftovers. The meats have great flavor, and the service is excellent. The restaurant has ample parking and is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp leading into the main entrance. While the sides and sauces may not be made on site, the meat remains the star of the show, and buying it by the pound to take home is a popular option. Visitors often enjoy the tender ribs, which are very meaty and fall off the bone, with some reviews noting that the BBQ sauce could use a little help, as it tends to be ketchup-based. The baked potato salad is consistently praised as very good, and the generous serving sizes make it a satisfying meal. The atmosphere is family-friendly and friendly, with a clean environment reflected by a high restaurant inspection score of 99. Parking is plentiful, making visits convenient, and the overall experience is reliable and enjoyable for those seeking flavorful barbecue in a welcoming setting.
