Ricks bar-b-que has always been a staple In our home but recently the quality has made us consider looking for other options. Our standard has been loaded potatoes and dessert. Visiting a buddy in Lawrenceburg and he brought me here. Had the half rack, mustard slaw, and baked potato salad. The ribs were tender, fall off the bone, and had gristle end trimmed. Very meaty. The BBQ sauce was more of a ketchup base in my opinion, and needed a little help, but I am from Kansas City. Mustard slaw was very spicy and I could not finish it. The baked potato salad was very good. Serving size was generous. Definitely would go back and try other offerings.
Food is always delicious, but I can't say it's the best BBQ I've had just because I've had BBQ from all around. But I will say it doesn't disappoint, and the price is always more affordable than traditional BBQ restaurants. Service also, is the best of any fast food restaurant I've ever been to.
