“Little Country Kitchen describes Belle's perfectly. We stopped by as they were beginning to close, and they gladly said they would take our order. We ordered the catfish family pack which has a whole mess of fish, two really large sides, and cornbread. The sides we picked were mac and cheese and coleslaw. The mac is good and tasty, but the coleslaw? Y'all, the coleslaw is amazing. Not too sweet, not too savory. Just right. The cornbread is flat, johnny cake style, and is a good compliment to the meal.The catfish is the absolute star of the show. The meat is tender, flaky, and mild. The breading though. Holy cow! The breading is absolutely divine. A perfect blend of crunch, texture, and flavor. Very savory, and perfectly blended. Some of the best I've tasted, and I've tasted quite a bit of catfish over the years.Do yourself a favor, and head over to Belle's when you get a chance. Friday nights are all-you-can-eat catfish, and live music to boot. To say we are fans is an understatement.“
“The little gem is a well kept secret with the residents of Gladeville , TN! What a wonderful privilege it is to dine here! Southern hospitality at its finest! This quaint and cozy is absolutely special! The food is amazing: homemade comfort food made with the finest ingredients and love! I read the reviews in Google and a few other sites were either raving or trashing this place. I decided to give them a try and so glad I didn’t sway to another place! I ordered the Hamburger Steak with mushrooms, and onions in brown gravy with fried okra, fried apples, and a jalapeño cornbread muffin. Everything was perfect! I still had barely enough room and managed to order a serving of a hot fudge cake as recommended by my gracious hostess, Miss Christie, who was a true professional, who obviously takes pride in her work and loves her customers!“
“They use soybean oil in their fryers. The food is good. There’s one cook that is really good but the other cook ain’t to bad. The burgers are great.Finding a place that doesn’t use poisonous canola oil nowadays is almost impossible. I literally pick my loads that’ll bring me by here again. I just wish they were open later. At least till midnight.“
