My wife and I decided to try Buddy’s for the first time ever at the Bristol location. We ordered our food online so we could be thorough and take time to look at the whole menu and decide what we wanted. My wife got the rib trio with beans and potato salad I believe. I went with a classic hot dog and fries and also got some hush puppies. Went thru the drive thru to pick up the order and that’s when it all started as a horrible mistake. I pulled up to the window to get our food and not even 1 person said we are almost done with your order, or we are working on it, or even said hello or anything to me at all; didn’t even give us our drinks at least when we pulled up. The manager looked like he was one of the biggest bums ever just because of the way he was dressed, very unprofessional. When we finally got our food the ONLY thing said to me was, HERE YOU GO. There was no hi how are you or have a good day or anything. Very rude customer service for starters. I grabbed the food and went to park in a parking lot to eat. We opened up our food and my wife’s dinner looked like it was just swished around like it was man handled. The beans were all in the potato salad and the ribs just even looked like they were dry as could be. She said the taste was horrible and she couldn’t even tell what one of the meats were. She said it tasted like chicken but if it was, then it wasn’t even done. She could have dipped it in bbq sauce, but oh yeah they forgot that. So she was eating dry awful meat with no sauce to even make it moist whatsoever. When I dug into my food, it just went downhill from there. The bun was just falling apart and would not stay together for starters. The chili tasted like it was seriously from a can, and if it was, I’ve had better can chili than that before. The fries wasn’t even close to being cooked all the way, and the hush puppies wasn’t even crispy, tasted more like rubber. So when you have someone like me who doesn’t take the time to write reviews about food, to actually take the time to write this review, well it was just so horrible that I actually had to say something. So if you’re looking to have some good bbq, don’t go to the Bristol location. It’s safe to say that I will probably never eat at buddy’s ever again.

I ordered the pulled chicken dinner and received it the chicken only filled half the to go box the sides were fries and baked beans and half an empty box. Yes I have a photo of it.

Forgot half my order which should have been my sign to check the order completely! Then after arriving home we discovered it was completely and totally wrong . I don’t even like buddies good to begin with but my wife insisted that’s what she wanted and so I give the people at buddies a round of applause for finally convincing my wife they is sucks ! As always what a waste of time and money !

Ordered 1/2 lb hot Turkey. What i got looked like very thin prepackaged sandwich sliced turkey that was pan fried so a bit of browning. No big deal. Wish it had a good smokey flavor. BBQ sauce saved it.
Parking: Look for the Shell gas station and turn in there or you’ll pass it up

On August 30th, I went to Buddy's BBQ drive thru in Lenoir City, TN, and got wings and fries as I absolutely love their fries. I got home and found that the 2 large fries I ordered were only half full. I checked the receipt, and I paid full price for them. A few days later, I went into the same Buddy's again and showed the manager a picture of the boxes of fries half full. He apologized. On October 1st, I again went thru the drive thru at Buddy's in Lenoir City, TN. Got home to find the exact same thing. Again, I verified on my receipt that no one was only charging me half price for half an order of fries. Today, I was there again ordering wings and fries. Instead of going through the drive thru, I went in so I could verify my order in front of them. When the lady handed me my bag, I opened it and verified that the fry boxes were full. The lady stood and watched me do this, so I began to explain to her that I needed to verify my order and why. The lady with a lot of blonde and hair and a lot of tattoos explained, " I feel ya" and thanked me. She never once apologized for shorting my order, she never stated that she would keep an eye on the employees in an effort to prevent future shortages. She appeared to not care at all. So, if you go to the Buddy's BBQ in Lenoir City, Tn. Be sure to check your order. Don't trust the drive thru and don't trust the blonde lady with the tattoos because they don't care how hard you work for your money, they're willing to beat you out of it by charging you full price and giving you half of what you paid for.
I love me some buddy’s when on the run, freak went this location on way home which is another 20 mins south. So many times get home and missing items or have the wrong order. Have called a couple times and left name etc and when come back they have no idea what I am talking about. It happens I get it and still come back often.
Doug is an amazing employee at this location evrytime I come here he is always so nice , friendly and professional & keeps things moving along at the drive thru. Thanks for awesome service and great food
