This is certainly not a Long John Silvers and its not even really a poor substitute even. Sometims its not fried proper or thoroughly and half the time they forget to ask if you want any tarter or cocktail sauce so dont forget to ask for them OR mentioning it two even 3 or 4 times til you see them do it

I had ordered a small drink for my grandson, then changed it to a kids size drink, while I was eating, I looked at my receipt, and they didn't take the small drink off my bill, when I brought it up to them, they wouldn't refund me for the small drink, stating they would have to refund the whole meal, then ring it back up, which the refused to do, and to top it off, the fish fillets were questionable if they were completely cooked in the center, I did not finish my meal. I will not return to this location.

This is the best Captain D’s that I’ve ever ate at. The food was excellent. However, the customer service was amazing. Keena Dawson was my cashier and she has customer service which many do not have anymore. She went above and beyond for my mother and I. We were very impressed at the amount of customer service that we received.

We ordered delivery through Uber and the driver was great. However, this Captain Ds is a joke.
1. They left $30 worth of food out of order (side of shrimp, side of hush puppies, and an entire meal). 2. We call to ask if it's there but takes 3 phone calls to reach anyone. 3. We go to get it and get back and they've not only left out all of the sauces, but the 6 pieces of shrimp that go in the full meal they originally left out.
There were 3 employees working when we got there- all looked to be about 15. Where are the adults? That was unacceptable and I won't be back.

Ordered the 3 piece fish meal and the 15 pc shrimp meal. They came with cole slaw, hush puppies, fried okra, and fries. Once order was placed, it took about 7 minutes. Food was fresh, restaurant was clean with lite music in the background. A nice enjoyable lunch.

Paid for my order at 10:42 am. Did not receive my order until 11:00 am. Then went to fill my drink to find no ice in the lobby. After I got my ice I filled my.cup full of soda, but after my first sip I dumped it out. It was more syrup than water and not good at all. Trued another drink and it was similar but not as bad. My receipt shows I asked for tartar sauce, honey mustard and cocktail but I had to ask for it when I went to the counter to pick up my food. The guy in the kitchen called out my order to pick it up then proceeded to walk around the kitchen and look at me waiting for someone to acknowledge I was waiting to get my sauces. While eating you could hear one of the people in the back, wearing an orange polo, talking really loudly and very unprofessional. Not once in all 3 of my interactions was I given an apology for my wait or a thank you. Watched another couple come in and wait for 2 minutes before anyone came out front. Kitchen. Guy came out to empty the trash and did offer to take my trash. This was the worst service I have ever had from this location. The food was at least hot for the wait I had.

I ate at Captain D's on July 27th 2024 and it was awful, the food was luke warm when we got it, the baked potato was cold and the service was slow and unfriendly. We dined in and I was very dissatisfied. Doubt that we will be back.

Went to Calhoun's Lenoir City to be on the water for my birthday with a coworker...This was my first experience with Calhoun's. The locals are telling yiu the truth about having delicious hickory smoked ribs ❤️, they were delish ?!! I ordered the 1/2 rack and enjoyed a baked sweet ?... ? I opted to try the Calhoun's lager on tap with an orange like the Belgian blue moon. What a serene and fin atmosphere the lounge and bar was packed.. be sire to make a reservation when coming here fir a bite to eat... I hear there is usually a wait list fir the lounge area... The Dining area seemed like it had not been updated in a good while like the rest of the restaurant seemed to be updated...
