This shop was great! I had the bacon, egg, and cheese fried pie and my partner had the berry and lemon pie. Both exquisite! The folks that run the place were very nice. Highly recommend!

I have been several times. The staff is great! The portions are generous but if you like seasoning forget it. I have tried the entrees. I have not liked any of them. The roast is sliced deli meat ,I was looking forward to a roast out of the oven or crockpot. The chicken says southern fried., so I thought I'd get a thigh or leg. Got a flat chicken patty. On the good side ..the fries, okra and onion rings are great. They have good hoagies too. The hamburgers are fantastic...however there was a new cook today, so not as good as usual. I will be back but stick to the sandwiches, chicken and dumplings or the catfish ( they were all fantastic)!

Husband and I take Miata drives all throughout east tennessee. We find a good lunch spot and take back roads to get to it, instead of just straight 4 lanes or interstate. We are repeat customers to Sandra D's! 10/18/25 was probably our last good top down drive for the season before it gets too cold. We chose Sandra Ds as our final hurrah for the season. Oddly enough, our first drive this year was also to Sandra ds back in April. The food is always fabulous, service is fantastic and we will continue to make Sandra Ds a stop on our rides each year!

This little dive diner has a cool vibe and the breakfast was top notch. The biscuit gravy is a must have. The omelet had fresh veggies. My husband I will definitely be back.

We came in late for breakfast hung over . That is the biscuit and gravy was delicious!!!! I can't wait to come back and try dinner. Loved looking at the classic race cars on the walls also. We live around the corner i will be back.
