Yamato steakhouse in Lewisburg TN

Food was not good, no sauce in the rice, noodles were like Ramon noddles and chicken was not good. But the main thing that set me to write this review is that we were the first customers in the restaurant, we ordered and were having a good time laughing etc. when a little boy ( owners kids ) comes over and says “ really? That loud? You’re going to disturb the guests. The need to be quiet and you too “ there were no other guests there at this time. We let it go. The kid comes back again and says “ they really need to stop. “ then my son was looking over the booth and the kid comes back and says “ oh and don’t like your kids climb over the couches “ ( he’s 1 years old & there was NO OTHER GUESTS in the restaurant. ) he wasn’t climbing over anything, literally just looking over. Then we go to leave, we pay the bill and I push the door and the little boy follows us out and goes “ that door was meant to pull not to push “ it was extremely rude and aggravating to deal with , and the food to not even be good. Also, smelt awful right by the front door.

I love the stake and shrimp fried rice and the Lewisburg roll is a must try. The wait is not long and they employees are kind. Recommended for sure

Sashimi was lovely.

The salmon in the sushi smelled

Food was so so. NOT your traditional hibachi like expected. Atmosphere was kind of run down like a struggling mom and pop restaurant. Service was good though. Not busy on a Saturday night in the summer.

Not bad Japanese food for the area with no other options.

This is hands-down our favorite sushi spot! It’s perfect for date night or carry-out when we want a treat at home. The fish is always incredibly fresh, the rolls are beautifully made, and everything tastes amazing every single time.

The staff is so friendly, and even when they’re busy, the service is quick and attentive. We’ve tried sushi in a lot of places, but we always end up back here—it’s consistently excellent whether we’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Highly recommend!

Great selection of sushi rolls! Hibachi was really good highly recommend the steak, chicken and shrimp!
