The Old Pilot Hill General Store

Great reuben! Pineapple cream cheese pie was delish and refreshing.

My wife and I stopped at the Old Pilot Hill Store and Cafe on the way home from checking out the nearby destroyed bridges, and we had an absolutely marvelous experience. The building is really neat, and historic general store that's been around for over a hundred years, and the interior is decorated in an eclectic blend of historical stuff, and local flavor. Really nice and comfortable.

Our first ask, if they had shakes, was not something the had unfortunately. They did, however, have an absolutely *delicious* fresh-baked apple pie, and one of the servers even ran back and came out with some vanilla ice cream to toss on top, just because it improves the pie. The staff was incredibly friendly and great to talk with.

Super experience, we will most DEFINITELY be coming back!

Step back in time and enjoy some good home cookin'. The hamburger and potato salad were delish as was my husband's cubed steak. The star, however, hands down, was the peanut butter pie. And you can't beat the beautiful mountain views from Old Pilot Hill!

Stopped in today, this place has all the charm you would expect. Down to earth friendly people and just a great place for a meal and you just might find a few treasures to take home with you.

First time back to the Old Pilot Hill General Store since it reopened recently. Great service, great atmosphere and really great food. I really missed this locally owned restaurant since it closed during Covid. Under the new owner and management it is once again becoming the go to place for locals and tourists alike. My friend and I dropped by for a lunch break with him ordering a burger and fries, I went for the club sandwich with fries. Hot, fresh and large portions were on our table in no time. A big thank you to Brandi and Cheyenne for the laughs and service while we were there If you're in the area you can find it located just east of Greeneville Tennessee off of state highway 107.

Cozy place for friends both old and new. Food is great and owners are friendly. I'll keep coming back.
