The Farmer’s Daughter | Southern offers excellent, amazing country food with plenty of it, served family style with lots of options. The food is very inexpensive for the quality, with a $20 cash per person flat rate that includes a drink and a dessert. The fried chicken breast is perfectly cooked, still hot in the middle and crunchy without being over coated. The best Mac n Cheese in a while and the carrot soufflé tastes like sweet potatoes, so smooth and sweet. The buttermilk chicken is always amazing, and the pulled pork is fantastic. The service is very friendly, quick, accurate, and accommodating to allergies. The atmosphere is quiet but inviting. Note that the restaurant does not take any debit or credit cards, only cash or a check; an ATM is available across the street. No to-go orders are offered.
