Been there many times and always the best of food and service. Anyone who complains about the food in this restaurant or the price is one of two things not from this planet or is one of those folks who goes around looking for some reason to be mad all the time ? There are folks like that who you can not tickle with a feather !

If you have not been to The Farmers Daughter you are missing out. Real home cooking is what you will find there along with the friendliest people. We drive from Sevierville often to get a truly delicious meal. They make every day a special occasion.

The Farmer’s Daughter | Southern offers excellent, amazing country food with plenty of it, served family style with lots of options. The food is very inexpensive for the quality, with a $20 cash per person flat rate that includes a drink and a dessert. The fried chicken breast is perfectly cooked, still hot in the middle and crunchy without being over coated. The best Mac n Cheese in a while and the carrot soufflé tastes like sweet potatoes, so smooth and sweet. The buttermilk chicken is always amazing, and the pulled pork is fantastic. The service is very friendly, quick, accurate, and accommodating to allergies. The atmosphere is quiet but inviting. Note that the restaurant does not take any debit or credit cards, only cash or a check; an ATM is available across the street. No to-go orders are offered.
