First time back to the Old Pilot Hill General Store since it reopened recently. Great service, great atmosphere and really great food. I really missed this locally owned restaurant since it closed during Covid. Under the new owner and management it is once again becoming the go to place for locals and tourists alike. Very quaint and homey. Great food and atmosphere. The staff are all very kind. Be sure you have cash or checks. They do not accept any type of cards. I learned on the way out after my meal.
We love this place! The food and service are exceptional but the atmosphere makes it a great place to take visitors after a morning at the David Crockett State Park. The best baked beans ever! Be sure to save room for pie!
