Absolutely the driest and worst flavorless brisket I’ve ever had, wife’s mac and cheese was flavorless as well as her burger, she said the best thing about it was the bun… I could tell that my brisket and broccoli were microwaved. Service was great though, friendly, prompt and attentive, I feel they’ve put more into the ambiance than into the taste of the food. We will never come back to eat here, sadly, we had great hopes for this place after reading some of the reviews, but our food was just awful, I literally had to pull this piece of brisket apart with my fingers as my knife and fork didn’t fare well doing it. Could be an amazing place if they fix the food. Priced right as well.

Visiting the area and found this wonderful place with out door seating - we were able to bring our leashed puppy on the porch - food was really good and our waitress was top notch- service was excellent- we will be coming back before we leave town for sure. PS only negative is they allow smoking on porch.

My husband & I were in Livingston to look at land for sale. We decided to eat lunch at Back Porch Grill, very glad we did! The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere & terrific food. Our server, Jamie, was great. She was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed there.

Great food at a great price . Side salad bigger than most . Spaghetti was different but very good.Fried green Tomato appetizer did not disappoint.We got our appetizer only about 2 minutes before our meal. That’s not good . Eat and get out is the message that sends .

A pleasant surprise in downtown Livingston, TN. Ample places to sit inside and out. Facility was clean and music playing.There is the ability to call in order and pickup.I had a mushroom Swiss burger. Tasted superb! Had a side of mac n' cheese. It was creamy and tasted but very small. Also had a side of corn on the cob. Portion way too small for corn.If you are eating at location, get there early as parking may be an issue.Overall a positive experience but a little pricey for the sides.I would recommend. Call and do take out. Very tasty and you won't be disappointed.

Clean. Delicious food. Great hospitality. Felt like I was at home when we walked in. The bathrooms were super clean and that says alot about a restaurant. The pulled pork dinner was really good. They smoke it themselves there at the restaurant. My husband had a burger with a side of mac n’ cheese and it was just as good (they also grind the meat and make the patties themselves). Simple, good home-cooking. Definitely the place to stop and eat when you’re in the area!

Thank you so much for the hospitality at your restaurant last night! There were 13 of us that showed up with just an hour notice. We had the best server waiting on us. He was very attentive and checked on us constantly. The food was excellent! We had such a variety and our servings were great. Very little wait time for our food. And we weren’t through!! Desserts!! Not one person complained about their food. We will be back!!
