This was a nice restaurant. Our servicer was very attentive and pleasant. My husband had the chicken livers and it was a very generous portion and they were very tender. My BLT had a lot of bacon and a large share of fries. This was a worthwhile stop for a good reasonably priced dinner. The atmosphere was fine, nothing fancy and it appeared to be clean. I didn’t use the restroom so can’t comment on that.

I ordered 3 of the cheeseburger specials today for pickup.. all of the burgers were still pink inside and all of the fries were way undercooked and soggy.. waste of $30. Will not be ordering from there again.

Had the opportunity to be a part of a large party here last week. There were almost 30 of us and there were a few hiccups but that's to be expected with a party that large. Food was extremely good, atmosphere was good. We had a great time! Definitely will be back.
Really enjoy this new restaurant in the woods. Really do our best as a family to shop and eat at the small mom and pop stores. Good hot food .Great service and of course that hometown country charm . Looking forward to coming back. Always to full to try the ice cream . Will have to come in and just have dessert ?. Thanks for taking a chance on us country folks . 21 years in the sticks, sometimes I get sick of driving into town. Now I don't have too.

I made it point to be his first customer and I had the gravy biscuits and coffee I have been back several times since then for lunch and dinner I am yet do be disappointed the bird is outstanding and the service is great the owner came out was pleasant to us and asking if everything was all right and now they have started serving specialty coffee such as lattes cappuccinos and different types of coffee drinks I have tried one and it was delicious so yes I would highly recommend you giving these people a try and of course they'll always be some stop in and find something wrong but you want yourself at least give them a try some of the best pinto beans and cornbread I'll be eat

This was our first time going to this restaurant. I LOVE chicken livers and I'm super critical. These were AMAZING. Very affordable for our family and great service. Hannah was our waitress and she did a great job. My three year old daughter got a little coloring page and behaved well in the hometown feeling environment. We will be back soon!

First thing I would say the owner and the staff are friendly caring and kind to ALL their customers. THEY TRY TO MAKE EVERYONE FEEL SAFE AND WELCOME.
Even when they have customers that are NOT being respectable. I notice the staff will go out of their way by treating everyone like they would want to be treated, you know the (GOLDEN RULE). But as we ALL know we cannot make everyone happy, specially in this day and time. I have to give them thumbs up for making us feel safe, when others customers are being loud, rude and being very disrespectful. Not just to the staff and the customers. They will respectable be ask to leave.
I haven't been dispointed on anything I have ate at Home town. I have tired multiple dishes, chef salad with bake potato, grilled fish dinner plate, BLT or the bologna sandwich with fries. Also the meatloaf or the chicken dumpling dinner specials. The desserts are worth the extra calories. Specially the heated toffee cake with ice cream. The food hasn't been a disappointment at all. Don't take my word for it, take a drive down the road and try it out yourself, you be the judge.
