I would call this place a home cooking place. Why? It is a restaurant in a home that has been converted into a restaurant. It feels like home. The porch is inviting. The inside is interestingly decorated. It feels cozy and comfortable.
The food is absolutely glowing. It is delicious and fresh made from scratch. I ordered the waffle sandwich and it is perfect. The waffles are thick, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Just perfect. The bacon is crisp with good cuts of ham and turkey and good cheddar cheese. Paired with maple syrup and honey mustard that you can slather on or dip. Worth doing the dunk and doing both syrup and mustard. They also have jams and preserves and let me tell you the orange marmalade was just as spot on perfect too.
The Hashbrown casserole is award winning, and it was the perfect side dish for this breakfast. Worth the $1 upgrade. The flavor was outstanding, and while it was more mashed potato consistency it was very very good mashed potato. Like going to go really fast at the church social good. The kind of good where you just want more.
Coffee is fresh and the local roaster they are using is delivering some seriously tasty coffee. The Pecan and the Crew Choice were both so dang good. Kudos on having memorable not boring coffee and choices of not boring coffee.
The folks working there are incredibly nice. The gentleman who was working the counter was really nice. Like authentically nice. Like hey friend it's good to see you. The environment of it being a house may play into that because it is just beautifully relaxed. Either way it feels like home and not a restaurant.
So here is the TLDR for everyone. Go eat here. Go get a coffee. Go experience this place because your soul needs it. I will be back for more when I venture back to middle Tennessee.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this is the best diner EVER.
The cashier was super super nice. Even bringing me to the kitchen to say thank you for the food.
Burger was perfect. I hate pickles but this made me clean the plate. Perfect bun, patty and everything 😋
100/10 you NEED to go here if you're in the area

From the moment I walked in I felt right at home. The smell of fresh made coffee, pastries and a hint of breakfast sausage wafted over me when I walked in…Heaven. For a second I thought I was back at my Gram’s house on a Sunday morning! The server was charming, helpful and efficient.
At his suggestion I had the homemade biscuits with sausage gravy and it was a treat. Biscuits were flaky, the gravy smooth with a hint of pepper and the sausage was placed on top. Wasn’t sure what to make of that but I ended up loving it.
Coffee (dark roast) was perfectly prepared, not a hint of “burnt”.
The atmosphere is Nashville-centric (photos of luminaries and art grace the walls.) and the seating (there’s even a little kids toy area and a mini library) is so much more extensive than you can see from outside.
I also took home some amazing cinnamon rolls and donuts!
I have two small quibbles, I’d prefer real half & half for my coffee and I’m sure it’s not possible, but table service would be lovely!
I can’t wait to visit again and try one of their omelets!

Service was great and coffee was a nice surprise. The pecan coffee was smooth and worth a second cup. Biscuits and key lime pie outstanding. The atmosphere was like being at home. The pictures are really cool too. I will definitely be stopping back when in the area again.

Came to Nashville to see family. So glad we came here for lunch. The service and ambiance were amazing. Everyone was so polite and easy to talk to. Sat outside and ate on the deck. It was warm outside but they kept the area cool. My daughter loved the coffee selections. My wife had the hashbrown casserole and said it was the best she ever had. My “meltdown” was simply made and delicious. This will be a spot we will come back to EVERY time we come to Nashville!
Awesome food and staff are so professional.

I love to pop in this place and grab a coffee!
Great food and it wasn't too busy. I didn't order coffee but they had some good choices. We had omelettes made to our specifications and they were tasty. The biscuit was super flaky and toast nice and crunchy.
Nice patio seats with some sunshine today. They even put blankets out to keep you warm!
Nice, off the beaten path location and highly recommend.
Visiting Nashville, found this place with very high ratings, went for brunch - WOW - the biscuit was to die for and the veggie omelette was better than I expected!!! Such a lovely experience, so quaint, also the music was fun (I heard Abba 3 times)!!
Excellent food and atmosphere. Cory provided excellent service as always. Would highly recommend.
Awesome little place for lunch that's close to home. Will definitely be back.
