Vega Shawarma is a great spot with incredible food. The menu is small but has choices for everyone. Portion sizes are impressive, generous, and large enough for leftovers or to split a sandwich. The food is fresh, delicious, fast, and authentic, made in house with good quality ingredients. The hummus bowl is a giant bowl full of hummus, veggies, and falafel. The cucumber labneh sauce is heavenly. The rose tamarind house made soda is made with real fruit and tastes naturally sweet. There are a ton of gluten-free options. Service is friendly, quick, and attentive. The space is very clean, nice, adorable, and feels luxurious with a quiet dining area. It is pleasant to sit outside. It is a little pricey for a lunch spot, but large portions justify the price point. It is a hidden gem and a great option for a healthy quick bite that is locally owned and doesn’t use a bunch of disposables. Catering is seamless and easy, with fresh and hot food.
