This restaurant is now called El Jimador. It has only been re-opened for about 3 weeks. The food was okay. I'm not sure how fresh the salsa was. I ordered the Camarones Acapulco and it had a great sauce. I unfortunately had three of the shrimp with the tails still on. Normally when you bread and fry shrimp you take the tails off, if they're going to be totally immersed in the batter. We had a group of about 20 and everyone was taken care of well. I lived in Texas for quite a long time, and Texans know about Mexican food-so I was pleasantly surprised that Tennessee has such a good Mexican restaurant! The food was well seasoned, and they didn't spice it up so much that one's nose starts to run & their eyes water-the salsa was great, and my dish had a side of rice with a creamy, flavorable cheese sauce on it that was great! Good service.Chips and salsa was good except for having to pick out the chucks of onion, which there was alot.Everything was good except for the fajita quesadilla, it had mostly onion, almost no green peppers, and the tomatoes were cut is quarter pieces which were way too large.For someone who doesn't like onions, be ready to pick a lot out. Even out of the salsa.
