Good food and good service. I had the chicken tenders with hand cut fries. They were large chicken tenderloins, not the thin ground up and pressed chicken you get at some restaurants.

First, let me start by saying that I love Bluetick. I moved here about two years ago, and since I discovered this place, it has been my go to for pizza, wings, and drink drinks. Usually, I’ve gone with a friend or coworkers occasionally, I’ve gone alone. Yesterday I went alone and my experience was definitely different than I’ve experienced before. I went upstairs as I have before and usually there’s only one person working upstairs and they are bartending as well as Server duties. On yesterday, it was not busy upstairs by any means. When I arrived, there were people leaving a woman at the bar in two men playing pool all parties looked as if they had been there a while. I quietly sat down and waited as I knew it would probably take a little bit of time as he’s by himself. Patient begin to wear then when I realize that there Was a lady who came up and sat down about 10 minutes after me, then a male came and sat down almost immediately after her and then three minutes came maybe about 10 minutes after that all of these individuals got their drinks and orders put in, but yet I had not been spoken to at all. I will also like to say they, this worker looked at me in my face, saw me watching him and still did not come to serve me. My drink order was not even taken. I had no interaction with him at all. I begin to get frustrated when I realize that it seemed to be because I was the only black woman up there. I hate to think like that, and I usually don’t result to that, but it genuinely felt that way. I politely got my bag and went back downstairs and asked to be set downstairs and also asked to speak with a manager. When I spoke with the manager and explained this to him, the only thing he had to say was “oh that’s really out of his character I’ll investigate”. It was clear that he did not care that this interaction was upsetting. I did not make a big deal out of it, was not rude, And continue to move on once I realize that he wasn’t even gonna go and talk to the individual about this. I even asked him to let me know if I misunderstood something. It was obvious that he, the manager got to a point of trying to avoid even me as if I was going to make a big deal about it. I continue to enjoy my meal while talking on FaceTime with my Bestie and my new waitress was amazing. I can’t remember her name but she was absolutely amazing. My food was great and my total was only $40(wings+ 12 inch pizza, and 2 cocktails). I left giving my waitress a tip of $20 because she was the only one that made me feel welcomed yesterday and I truly appreciate that. I’m not sure if they assumed i was wanting a discount or something but i did not. Just to not purposefully be ignored and dismissed. I’m not sure if I will return alone again but as long as I’m with a group or someone else i may. I hate that because this genuinely is one of my favorite places.

They had great pizza options and excellent pizza. Unique bowls were really well made. Tofu was very good.

The Bluetick Tavern is my husband and my absolute favorite place to eat and drink whenever we're in the area. We frequently hike in The Great Smoky Mountains and never miss stopping here on our way in. We are vegan, and they have multiple options for us. We have traveled with others, who are not vegan, that shared our appreciation of the food, drink, and service. We've been coming here for quite a few years, and have never had a bad experience. The reasonable prices are an added bonus. If you find yourself in the Maryville, TN area, I can't recommend them more highly!

I'll have to come back for the fish n chips, when they're not sold out. The fries were well seasoned, and about 1/4 of mine were edible, the rest were blasted. My girlfriend's batch looked and tasted much better. Her burger was fine, nothing special. My chicken fingers were pretty decent, but again, nothing crazy. Nice place to catch a game or have a casual lunch.

Food has improved since my last review 3 years ago. I like the Mitchel burger (grass fed, grass finished beef) and the salads. Nice selection of beers. In our latest visit we were bot liking the service and the noise. 8 televisions in the back room. You could not hear anything including the TVs, the waitress, etc. I only saw one customer (out of 32) watching a television. For the noise alone, we will not go back.

This spot is a local 💎

Decent pizza. The chicken fingers are class. And they have a few pool tables upstairs.

A must visit when you’re passing through downtown Maryville next time. Nice bourbon selection. 🥃

I am the pickiest. Seriously, I want things top shelf when I'm out and paying for a meal. We had a varied group of people, three vegetarians, one semi vegatarian and a T-Rex worthy carnivore.

I'd been searching for a place that had veg options and found this place near the airport where we were picking up our Coastie.

First impression. Clean, airy, relaxed. We were seated right away and our server was there within two minutes. He took our drink order and, seeing the menu before we got there, we ordered two starters, the fried green tomato dish and black bean hummus.
Both were so good! The tomato's were hot, crisp and exactly...e x a c t l y...the way FGT should be. The best I've ever had.
The hummus was clearly home made, the pita bread was soft and warm, so good.

The time between starter and main was just right. Two of us had the grain bowl, I would go back every day just for that if I lived closer, everything in it was spot on. The veggie calzone was packed with fresh veg and cooked to a golden brown on the outside. A beyond burger is a beyond burger, but the bun and veg was fresh and the cheese grits were tasty. Pastrami Reuben, yum, yum, yum!

Our server, gosh I can't remember his name, I think it was Brandon (sorry!) was friendly, efficient and unobtrusive.

All in all, a great experience and we will be back, hoping for a repeat 5 star experience.

This place has a really good vibe. Had a decent choice of brews on tap. Food was tasty. My only issue is that they did not have a blender behind the bar for certain types of cocktails.

Service was good and food was great. Wish the server was more interested in work instead of flirting with the next table .

A NEW HOSTESS!! I was pleasantly surprised to see Ashley again. It was a wonderful homecoming after her 4 year stint at Blackrock as a mercenary (at least that's what she told me). I understand when you've been away from an organization for a while you have to start at the bottom. Although she is currently a hostess, I saw her running food, talking to customers, and overall taking care of business. One day, when she gets it together, she'll be an asset for the company.
