Cozy little place for a reasonably priced latté (in the library no less)! Wonderfully personable and competent Barista, and a nice variety of drink and treat options! This cafe has been in the library as long as I can remember and seems only to have improved with age.

I love this place, even after I went digital, I would still come here for the experience. I really wish that hadn't stopped selling their snickerdoodles and Creamcheese muffins. They were amazing and the only place I could ever find them.

Eat and drink in the library? I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely this cafe is, and how lovingly their customers are treated. Spotlessly clean, fun drink-of-the-month ideas, tasty treats, and even a place to peruse affordable used books to buy to support the Friends of the Library. There is lovely artwork on the walls and lots of seating nearby. It thrills me to see the number of people that enjoy sitting and enjoying a beverage and/or treat while reading or researching at the library.
Kid-friendliness: Near the Children's section of the library with child appropriate treat and drink options.
Parking: Parking is plentiful.
Wheelchair accessibility: All first level, no stairs.

This is a superb library. It's huge and much nicer than any in Knoxville or most of Tennessee!
Lego Club every Tuesday 4to5pm for kids!
Children's library
Can't find your book? Look in the Temporary Shelves, where recently returned books are kept until they make it into the main stacks. Or ask a librarian!
Best wireless reception is the gallery abd Reading Rotunda. Quietest study spots are the desks and tables by the windows overlooking the park and at the end of Oversize section.
Try the Knoxville County library if you don't want to pay $.50 per hold per book. This library's collection is decent at best.
Great place to get work done!

Stop into the Bookmark Cafe for a cuppa joe or tea, or a sandwich at lunch. Great coffee from Vienna Coffee Co., Maryville, served fresh every day.
The wifi signal is better in the reading rotunda than anywhere else in the library.
Check out Lee Greenwood!
