It took me a while to get someone to go with me to try Chapuline's because it's attached to the Exxon gas station but I finally convinced a friend to join me - and it was a very pleasant and delicious surprise. The service was very friendly and they took the time to help us understand their menu. The prices are very reasonable (under $4 per taco) and the variety is wonderful from chicken, steak, seafood and beyond. They offer 5 varieties of Mexican beers (but sorry, no margaritas.) My friend very much enjoyed the vegetarian burrito and it was a size to match Chipotle's. They have a nice salsa bar so you can sample different flavors - or dip your tongue in a spicy salsa sauce and watch your friend's eyes start to cry. It's not much in the way of "atmosphere" being a smaller venue tucked next to the gas station but they do the best they can. Spanish channel on the TV, Spanish music and some light decorations. But the real charm is the good food at fair prices. Definitely will return to try some different tacos and the occasional burrito.Vegetarian options: Veggie Burrito is available.

Great food! Street taco vibes all over the place. My burrito was HUGE, you won't go home hungry. Don't shy away because of the location, it's not connected to the gas station, completely separate. Cool little salsa bar also, unique flavor add-ons.

The best you can get. Homemade corn tortillas, salsas, an awesome menu and friendly staff make this place a home run. There are no better tacos within 100 miles.
Oh my goodness!!! The food is amazing. You get a good amount definitely get what you pay for. Always friendly. We order from work a lot of times. I also go in after work to take home for supper time. Food is always freshly cooked.
My family and I were in Walland, Tennessee on vacation. And we stopped for lunch at the grasshoppers; The food, service and food varieties were excellent. We recommend and enjoy good Mexican food like us.Greetings from Miami, Fl.

The food is always great and served quickly. The chips, salsa and pico de gallo are amazing. I could eat a meal of those alone! The only thing is it's a bit pricey but I guess you get what you pay for! It's excellent food.
