I had two meals there about a month ago. Even took a to-go serving for home. The food was delicious everything was baked on site and the desserts were superb. Menu had the diverse group of options and the waitress was served us was friendly and helpful. Definitely plan on returning there soon.

Five friends and I went there last night for the first time. Everything was wonderful. Best fried pickles and fried green tomatoes we’ve ever had. The margaritas were wonderful. We got a hamburger steak with grilled onions, chicken, pasta, Alfredo, country, fried steak, open face, roast, beef sandwich, club sandwich, and Philly cheesesteak. And of course we had to try the banana pudding, which was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and so tasty. The portions are large. The servers are friendly. The owners are great. We will definitely be back again.

It’s as if they don’t believe in seasoning their food… I remember it when it was the Courtyard and then RJ’s, but this doesn’t hold up. I got the Alfredo, it as if it was just dumped out of a jar (Alfredo sauce is the easiest to make) no oregano, no garlic, and no Parmesan or real cheese. My son got the steak, it just straight up tasted like dead meat, no pleasant taste at all. If you want the basic confused white man experience then this place is for you.

We sat at the bar and the bartender/server, Haylie, was so pleasant. When we questioned her about some menu items she was very helpful with recommendations. I got the special, Meatloaf and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The pinto beans were good, just not like I make them, and the mashed potatoes are real! But those hushpuppies....YUM! The menu has a lot of choices and the prices are really affordable, almost cheap! The bar pours are fair and the alcohol is not too pricey.Kid-friendliness: Seems to have good choices on the kid's menu.

Went to Jake’s for Sunday lunch. Got there around 12:30pm and got seated promptly but was told our party of 10 count could not be seated at one table because they don’t push tables together, and we didn’t get there soon enough to get the one table that could seat all of us together. We had to constantly ask for refills on our drinks. When we ordered our food, it took over an hour to get our food and it was cold when it arrived at our table. Several of our plates were wrong and had to be sent back to the kitchen. My husbands plate was just reheated and brought back to the table. He had taken a bite out of it when he realized it was cold and they brought the exact same plate with the same bite taken out of it. The owner asked what he should do to make it right and we told him to recook it and take it off the bill. We were told by the owners that we made the server cry and we were rude to her the whole time.

We found the parking a bit tight when we arrived for an early dinner. We were promptly seated and had an excellent server. We had 3 people with us and we all tried different things and the portions were very large. I felt like the food was average. We tried the cheese burger, open faced roast beef sandwich and a salad with chicken. My burger was cooked good but it wasn't up there with a lot of my favorite places. The roast beef was delecious but the dark gravy was not my favorite tasting but the okra and coleslaw sides were very good. The salad with spicy ranch was a new take for me and it was good.

Food was good as usual but they have went up on most meals $4.00to$5.00. The Philly cheese steak was 8.99 when they was off 411 now its 14.99. I guess the customers have to pay for the new building and a better location

This was a great dinner. Great portion size for what you pay for. I would highly recommend Jake’s Courtyard! We lucked out and the owner was there when we were and talked to us for quite awhile as we were leaving. We found out quite a bit about the building. He was so friendly and talkative. All the employees that we interacted with were very friendly! I highly recommend Jakes Courtyard for a family dinner!!!Well done Guys. We will definitely be returning.Parking: There is parking in front and behind the building. Plenty of parking places and they have several handicap parking places.

Great food and service. Angus burger was perfectly cooked. Shrimp pasta was perfect as well. Our server couldn't have been better.

Hostess and female staff were very kind. Table service was absolutely horrible by the male staff. One meal was left off the ticket and we had to remind the server twice to put it in, only finally getting it right before we left. Our plates were taken before we were even done, the server constantly leaned against/bumped into us, and knocked over medical equipment we had. The tickets for our meals were wrong after specifying who was with who. Would rather get fast food than try to dine here for any special occasion again.
Absolutely loved Jake's Place. Portions were large, prices were good. Sweet tea was spot on. Friendly staff, too. Will go back first chance I get.

Now with the food being great and the servers serving. This restaurant gives you th e best to satisfy your stomach just look at how cheesy that Philly cheesesteak looks like. Delicious food and the atmosphere as well.

I hate to say how good this place is. Because if I do. You won't be able to get in there when you want to go. It is a great place if you like country cooking. At a more than reasonable price. Great service and a great atmosphere. The food is off the chart! ???
