Wonderful experience. The quality of the food is very good and the staff is very friendly. The owner was very kind and we talked about food and recipes, she is the best. We will come back soon!

Best catfish I've ever had! And the homemade potato soup was so yummy. She is in process of moving in, so the atmosphere was a little crowded. But give this place a try and you will love it!

Mrs. Olivia not only makes wonderful soups and sandwiches but also visits with her guests who are welcomed to her restaurant and feel free to stay as long as they like. The room was mostly locals. We got there just before 2:00 when they close, but she fed us anyway and then shared recipes for potato soup and chicken salad made her way. My family ordered the chicken salad on a croissant and I had the best Reuben of my life there.. You can also buy her cookbook while you are there. You will love it!

I recently been working in Maryville and stumbled upon Miss Olivia’s for lunch one day! Needless to say I’ve not ate lunch anywhere else since! Her hot plate lunches are amazing! They change every day and each one is some of the best, home away from home, home cooking I’ve ever had! The hospitality is Top Notch and you can tell she loves what she does just from talking to her! Just a joy to talk to! Def five stars!!! If you’ve not stopped by, you don’t know what your missing!!!

Best cat fish I believe I've ever eaten! And the pineapple upside-down cake was just awesome! We'll definitely be back!

My first visit was very charming and welcoming! The fish that Miss Olivia cooked herself. I ordered the special of the day, “Fried Fish” . She came to my table greeting me & informing my fried fish would be out soon. The hush puppies, coleslaw which was freshly made, and the fish were delicious. I wanted to have dessert however my lunch was too filling hopefully next visit. I purchased a cookbook created by a local retired teacher stating the profits were given to local rural schools.

My husband & I were extremely disappointed on our 1st (and last) visit to Miss Olivia's. We have watched Miss Olivia on WBIR for some time, watching her prepare some of her menu items & banter with the staff (even though at times she was very rude) but the accolades for the food & restaurant were positive & we thought we'd give it a try. We were seated & ordered water to drink. When the (only) waitress returned to take our order I asked about the soup of the day & was told there was not one for that day nor was there a sandwich of the day option. In addition she said they were out of roast beef (for the roast beef & cheddar sandwich). I ordered the chicken salad on croissant with chips & my husband ordered the ham & swiss on rye with chips. Overheard the gentleman at the table next to us order a BLT only to be told they were out of bacon!! When the waitress brought the drinks to that table, she tipped her tray spilling drinks & breaking 2 glasses on the next table which was empty. An attempt to clean up the mess with paper towels was made but before the floor could get cleaned up the waitress sat a couple at that table. After waiting for 30 minutes, Miss Olivia served our food. They must have been out of ingredients to make a decent chicken salad too because the only thing in it was chicken, mayo, green, red and yellow peppers! Plus we only had about 8 chips & half of them were soggy (from what we don't know)! We were never offered refills of our water. The waitress never brought our check so we had to go up to the register & wait on Miss Olivia to come out from the kitchen to check us out & tell her what we had ordered. We are big supporters of local businesses but cannot reccomend this place at all.

Miss Olivia is so personable, always tries to accommodate her customers when called in advance. Example; When my coworkers and I have a limited time for lunch, if We call ahead she will prepare the food and reserves table so lunch time is ready and in/ out service is quick. Not to mention her food is delicious everything is made fresh. This my favorite restaurant!

I went with a friend for lunch. It's very inexpensive. Had chicken salad and it was ok. Just a little mom and pop place. I wouldn't rush to go back but if I was in the neighborhood I might stop by because I like to support local business, but can't justify making a special trip!

Love this place. I can just walk here and great memories from when I was a child. Still looks exactly the same as I remember.

Miss Olivia’s food is wonderful! The place reminds you of eating at grandma’s house. She is an excellent host and the place is so quaint and beautiful. Highly recommend!
