Simply the best you will ever eat and friendly staff. Unfortunately one of the most expensive as well. They didn't used to be so expensive so I droped 1 star. I still go there just not as often. They are part of a chain and I often stop at others when I'm in Texas and those are generally as good but about half the price.
This place is my favorite donut shop in Knoxville probably even all of Tennessee. They are a classic donut shop that doesn’t do any of the crazy donuts with wild toppings, just your classic donuts and they do them to perfection. They make the lightest, most fluffy & soft donuts I have ever had. They also 1 of the few shops in the area that serve classic (cheese/cheese & jalapeño) kolaches (pigs in a blanket) but Donut Palaces kolaches are miles above the other shops...
Stumbled upon this gem of a donut shop on google while trying to find a place that had sausage rolls and not just fancy donuts! It was definitely worth the 15 minute drive from Knoxville! The donut holes are perfectly airy and soft—just melt-in-your-mouth good. And the pigs in a blanket? Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Flaky, flavorful, and just the right amount of savory. If you’re in the area, or if you don’t mind the drive, don’t miss it!
