Y'all should come here for the smoked wings--take my word for it. We are visiting from Houston and took the wise recommendations of our friendly waiter, Chris. Sat on the cute patio on a lovely fall again.
Looking forward to returning next time we're in town!

Went in for lunch yesterday because from 11 to 2 you can bring your kids. It's nice to be able to have an adult dining experience with your kids. The service was excellent and informative about the food. They have an excellent staff and were very nice to my daughter. I got a pepper and onion smoked sausage hoagie that was very good. The bun was crunchy and soft. The homemade mustard with the pepper and onions was fantastic. The sausage had that smoked flavor of a good BBQ joint. The curly fries were very similar to Arby's. The wife had a turkey club that was stacked with meat. Excellent smoked bacon and tender turkey. The Tennessee tots were also very good. Both meals had an excellent pickel. I had a Kentucky bourbon barrel ale that was outstanding. It was like carbonated bourbon and really packed a punch. Had the wife drive home. Really a fantastic beer. The atmosphere is very cool with a friendly lunch crowd. The lunch specials are very reasonable and the quantity was good. They have an excellent bourbon selection as well. My daughter loved all the Halloween decorations. This is an awesome spot to have a nice lunch. I highly recommend a visit. The wife and I want to go back without the kids. Definitely gonna do lunch there again to try the street tacos and have an $11.00 pour of Weller special reserve.

Parking: City parking lot at the end of the block and a limited amount of street parking. More challenging at dinner than at lunch.

It is no fault of the service staff but there were ~60 guests & 2 servers. The food was cold because it could not be delivered timely. There was not one drop of BBQ sauce on my "BBQ platter". Reasonably priced if the food was good, I found it not. Maybe bad timing but I had a poor experience.

Food and service were good but it was very loud and hard to carry on a conversation without yelling (which added to the noise level ?).

My husband and I stopped in at Two Doors Down/The Pickled Pig in downtown Maryville. Parking was interesting, but the food was incredible. Our server, Jessica, was great and attentive. She recommended that I try the pulled chicken tacos . I did, and she was correct that they were absolutely delicious. My husband tried the Firey Chicken Philly, and by his silence (stuffing his face), I can assume that he definitely would recommend the plate. I would most certainly recommend stopping in and checking this place out.

Tonight I had the PLEASURE of eating here, now anyone who knows me knows that I love good food and I’m a pretty good cook myself, but I have to say this is hands down one off the best places in Maryville to eat, I had the bacon jam meatloaf and it was????? the only thing wrong was I didn’t order double ????the green beans were excellent and the backed beans were perfect, there is no other word for it. Kudos to the chef, management and staff. I truly recommend you give them a try, you won’t regret it, and the menu has something for everyone

Great small town bar with lots of large screen televisions playing more than sports - thank you!We stopped in for lunch and we started with salads that were large and fresh with homemade dressing. Next I had the Meatloaf with Bacon Jam and green beans; had way too much breading in the meatloaf for my preference but was decent and good flavor profile with the bacon jam albeit on the sweet side.Hubby had the Fried Pork Chops with green beans that were a bit thin and needed more gravy but not bad. Our companion had a taco that was really good and the Firecracker Chicken Hoagie with the Jalapeño Creamed Corn that had good flavor and he enjoyed. We also learned that they have a stage and do open mike nights, have comedians, and known musicians. We will definitely give them another try and will keep an eye out on their events page.

My FIL saw a positive review in the paper but we were disappointed. The bar smells like cigarettes so definitely get to go, if you go. The chicken was very DRY. We ask for multiple BBQ sauce and only got one very sweet sauce. The bolognese sandwich was almost inedible due to the amount of mayo it had on it. The meatloaf had surprising heat. Greens bean were weirdly spicy. The southwest taco felt close to Taco Bell. The ribs and Mac/Cheese were definitely the best thing we got but the bar was low. Overall, wouldn’t recommend. The staff was nice when getting out to go order.

In town to catch a Maryville Scot’s baseball game and found this cool little place. Located downtown, five minutes from the colleges. First thing we noticed was the super cool atmosphere. Way cool bar when you walk in but keep on heading to the back and you’ll find an awesome tequila bar. Live music and comedic shows are held and I lost count of the many tvs. You can also get in a little game of pool. The menu has a wide variety of delicious options. House favorites are the wings, Cuban, meatloaf to mention a few. My husband really loved the wings! There’s is outdoor seating at well. Parking you’ll need to find but there is a lot about a block away. All ages welcome until 2pm. 21 and older establishment after 2pm.

Walked into very dark entryway. Tables very near front of door. 4 or 5 blond waitresses?/ barmaids? watched me try to figure out how/where to go/order, but wouldn't make more than fleeting eye contact across the bar 4+ ft away. After 2 minutes with no interaction, walked out. No welcome, no business from me. Probably a good thing after reading previous review.

First, the smell of old cigarette smoke is so strong in there which gave an unpleasant experience. The servers were all very nice and helpful so this review is not of reflection on them. The food was hot which was great. We ordered the philly...not a Philly at all. It had shredded beef instead of sliced like the menu stated. The fries were burnt because they were baked not fried. The pulled pork was dry, tough and flavorless. The sauce was syrupy and like a cheap KC Masterpiece. The greenbeans were bland but yet had some heat. The wedges were also baked but had a weird chemical taste. The bread was soft but the butter had a weird old movie theater butter taste. Both of our drinks didn't taste good. The tea was cloudy and Dr.Pepper tasted "dull". This is a bar although The Pickled Pig should have more of a designated restaurant space. Overall would not recommend...3/10.
