We meet here once a month for a retired law enforcement and firefighters lunch. The service is exceptional and the food is wonderful!! If you’re in the area, stop in and bless them with your presence. You’ll feel like you’re in a pub in downtown Chicago. You won’t be disappointed. Five stars all the way!

Best Cobb salad in town. 1/2 price pizza Tuesdays for now.Parking: Good parking, pain to get out of if you're turning left out of the lot. Just take William Blount drive to get turned around. Save yourself and other some trouble.

I'm not sure how to rate this post. I think their bartenders and wait staff are incredible and knowledgeable regarding their work, but the menu has become so expensive that I'm not sure I'll go back. I'm not sure of the reason for the sudden nickel and diming, but it's too much now. I understand that businesses can't give everything away, but when you've been going there regularly for years and this happens suddenly, you've gotta wonder what's happening. We're not bad customers, we tip generously, enjoy talking with the employees, and the food is good. I just think $90 for two sandwiches and four domestic beers is insane.

Windy City Grill is staffed with some great folks. Today my friend and I were looking for some good soup after he had a tooth pulled. They had some French onion soup that sounded awesome. I called in and ordered 4 bowls to go. On the way home we had an issue with what the soup was packaged in. It wound up spilling in my truck. Well, I called them to explain what went wrong and they were so apologetic and wanted to do whatever they could to make up for the issue. See, they usually don't have people order soup to-go so they weren't aware of the failing package. These guys and gals went above and beyond to figure out a new way to package it and really won my business. I will be returning and will definitely recommend them to friends. After all this, I got home and my friend and I enjoyed some awesome French onion soup that was well worth it. You don't come across people like these very often, they should be cherished. ?
