Old, Overcooked, cold crap. I swear the fish was nuked as the ends were tough and dried out. The shrimp were hard as rocks and the crab was overdone and was a grease sponge. Looks refried to me. The Broccoli was mushy and crunchy at the same time and to top it off there was a bite out of one of my hushpuppies. This wins the worst meal of the year award easy. Tried to call. Its a fax. Apparently someone knows they suck and don't want to hear it.
I haven’t eaten at the D’s in a long time but I got carry-out today. The window clerk was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the gumbo for my husband and and he liked it. I tried the spicy fish and was totally surprised to find it soooo spicy that it wasn’t even edible. I like spicy food but I truly wasn’t expecting something so hot that it should have come with a warning label.

Captain D's in McMinnville offers consistently great food and fresh seafood. The staff is friendly and professional, and the manager is fantastic, making the dining experience enjoyable. The food was good, but some were very disappointed that corporate has discontinued the sweet and sour sauce and replaced it with chicken sauce. Despite this, the overall experience at Captain D's is positive, with ample parking space for those with trailers.
