This hotel is not near a lake! The reviews are stupid. It is a hotel breakfast that should be free. Stop leaving reviews when it's obviously paid reviews. Nothing special hete in this frozen reheat breakfast and dinner, should be free, restraunt
Booked a night stay while traveling, didn’t read the trip advisor reviews until after I booked the room. Was a little nervous regarding the reviews but the overall stay was actually very nice!!! Friendly staff greeted us at 1:30 a.m., nice and clean room, thermostat at a PERFECT temperature upon arrival. Enjoyed our night! Would stay again!
This hotel knows how to make reservations and confirmation numbers, but it doesn't know how to keep reservations or treat their guests. We had a confirmed reservation cancelled without being contacted by email or phone, because of a snafu with the card on file. Everyone I have contacted or spoken with at this hotel have been, at the best, apathetic, at the worst, blatantly rude. They put our family in peril with their lack of customer care and competency. Made no effort to help us find alternative lodging, forcing us to drive home in a sleet and snow storm. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Arrived at this location only to find that our rooms were canceled by the hotel without notice. We arrived in town for business on one of the busiest weekends in Memphis. The Caucasian couple before us had the same cancellation issues and were accommodated. We were told by the front desk clerk to wait. She never helped us. And continued to help other guests. Luckily we were able to book another hotel thirty minutes away. Do yourself a favor and never book this property.
The worst Experience Ever! Do not stay, bedbugs issue! Me and my wife stayed in the hotel for two nights, my wife found 30 more spots on her. We had to throw some of the cloth away and completely clean everything. I contacted the hotel 3 times in 3 days but only received an email from hotel management after contacting IHG customer care. They then following sent me an email have an inspection check sheet from a local company, the inspector was in an out hotel in 50 mins, and the inspector checked 2 rooms, YES, TWO ROOMS. That means at least they have another room having bedbugs issue. The inspector probably only spends 20 mins top each room. if you look at the information online, the inspector should at least leave a sticky pad around and bed legs and come back to check again, and none of this happened. Worst hotel ever, do not stay unless you want to bring bedbugs to your own home!
It was magical. Beautiful rooms right on a gorgeous lake. The owners are incredibly nice and a delicious unique breakfast every morning. We'd go back in second.
The furnitures at the lobby are old and full of stains. The floor of our room are full of scratches. The hallway on teh fourth floor had chemical smell. We got only two towels and there were three of us. The roomwas big though but i would rather stay in an updated hotel than run down.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk lady is very nice. Slow check in because she was the only one working. She did the best she could. Ambience was terrible in the lobby. Half the lights were not on, the TV was turned off, and the restaurant and bar were closed due to being short staffed. One of the reasons I picked this place was because of the convenience of having a restaurant on site. They should’ve had something posted on the IHG app so I would’ve had a heads up. I would stay here again for the rooms but would definitely consider other options that are in the same price range.
For a hotel that is a few years old this place isn’t kept up very well. First off, the room they put us in had bugs!!! Not a few but a lot. The man at the desk asked what kind of bugs, like that even matters, the room also had water damage and cracks in the walls. The second room was better but there was mold in the bathroom under the sink and cabinets as well as stained tub. The free breakfast was awful. Dried hard powder eggs and burnt gravy with hard biscuits. And of course out of order pancake maker. Here’s some advise if it’s not working move it out of customer veiw. Don’t show people something they can’t have. To top it all off the owner/ manager was at the front desk and she knew what happened and didn’t say or do anything to make our stay better. The man at the desk knew we were in town for a funeral, maybe it was poor communication on his part with the manager but customer service was terrible. Won’t stay here again.
Not a bad hotel on the surface. Great location. Fairly new. Friendly front desk clerk. Poor thing. She had to let me in my room. Five times! Evidently the battery in the lock was dead and the maintenance man was gone for the night. ? Thought I’d have to sleep in the hall because even she couldn’t unlock the door. But it took a couple hours. Not. Worth. The. Hassle. Never again. But the front desk clerk was precious. ?. I feel for her.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. I was in town for a funeral and my daughter didn't have linen on her pull-out bed. The desk person spent 2 hours lying about bringing the linen up. Every time I would call she would say 10 more minutes or that she had already delivered it to the wrong room. I eventually called corporate who called the desk for me and still wasn't able to resolve it. I checked out early and they didn't offer an apology. I will never be returning to an IHG property.
Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was quite. The parking lot was well lit. There was no breakfast included in the room rate but there is a restaurant on site. We brought breakfast with us any way so not a big deal for us. I would stay here again.
I was informed by the barista and cook that the business is new and looking to grow. Being nestled inside the Holiday inn, the restaurant doesnt see the light of day. Come on down. They are open to the public. The staff seems driven and eager to please. I'm certain it'll be worth the stop.
Awesome place for breakfast and dinner! The staff is always friendly and ensures that your food is nicely made in a timely matter, not to mention DELICIOUS! ?Chester the evening cook, Q the bartender and Roz the manager are all amazing staff!Great job you guys!
I checked into a room that was in bad need of maintenance. Scratches and gouges in the floor, walls, and not very clean. It lacked soap and cups. I told front desk I could live with it that night as long as housekeeping cleaned it well and supplied it with all normal amenities the next day. However, the next day they did n9t come at all. I called the front desk who said they would bring everything up. They never did. The day after that, no housekeeping again. I called the front desk again, and yet no one came. They used covid as the excuse for the pool to be closed however no other hotel has such a rule. They state they require face masks, but no one had any. The hand sanitizers outside the elevators empty. The covid excuse does not hold water. We went to the bar to have a few drinks only to be told they would not sell us a drink unless we bought food. So, we went next door. Management needs to come out of the office and check the rooms. I paid to be at a full-service Holidays Inn and received less than an Express. I mean the entire stay no soap, clean towels, coffee, etc. And in a room that should have never passed an inspection. Even the trash cans were filthy. I paid for services that I expect from IHG hotels, but never received.
