This place is a disaster. When checking in, I inquired about the restaurant and was told that there would be a buffet as well as sit down service. No buffet was set up, and not one server could be found in the empty restaurant. I approached a woman standing behind what looked like a bar and asked her about dining. She said buffet was for military personnel only. However, moments later when a young military man came down there was no food set up on the buffet for him either. My company contracts out discounts for us at the hotels we stay at but when I inquired about that the front desk gentleman stated "I've only been working here for a week, but I'm pretty sure you don't get any kind of discount." I went back to the restaurant and I asked about ordering off the dinner menu. Just wanted a simple entrée they had on the menu of penne pasta and vegetables. The very rude bartender flagged down the cook who came out and told me "penne pasta is very complicated and takes about 45 minutes to cook." Decided to settle for the salmon and vegetables, but the vegetables were horrible. Steamed to the consistency of baby food. My room also completely reeks of Carpet Fresh. Bottom line: rude, lazy and incompetent staff and a horrible smelling room.

Arrived at noon hoping for early check-in. Was told by personnel at the counter immediately that early check-in is not available. I stepped to the side, checked via IHG app for other nearby hotels, found one quickly, confirmed via phone that they had rooms available for early check-in, so booked a reservation there and cancelled my reservation at this location. During my phone call with the other IHG hotel, personnel at the counter must have looked up my name in the system (150 nights annually, Diamond/Spire Elite status for 10 years) and offered to "check again" for any rooms that may be available for early check-in. Not impressed. I've been been brand loyal to IHG for a long time, and will remain so. My experience at this location was a pretty poor example of what is usually great IHG hospitality.

This hotel is not near a lake! The reviews are stupid. It is a hotel breakfast that should be free. Stop leaving reviews when it's obviously paid reviews. Nothing special hete in this frozen reheat breakfast and dinner, should be free, restraunt

Please do not book here.THEY HAVE BED BUGS..The staff was nice upon arrive. The room was spacious. After spotting the bed bug. No compensation was made and couldn't even get in contact with the general manger. All I got was an apology. I had to pack up at 3am with my 2 young kids and find another hotel.

Booked a night stay while traveling, didn’t read the trip advisor reviews until after I booked the room. Was a little nervous regarding the reviews but the overall stay was actually very nice!!! Friendly staff greeted us at 1:30 a.m., nice and clean room, thermostat at a PERFECT temperature upon arrival. Enjoyed our night! Would stay again!

This hotel knows how to make reservations and confirmation numbers, but it doesn't know how to keep reservations or treat their guests. We had a confirmed reservation cancelled without being contacted by email or phone, because of a snafu with the card on file. Everyone I have contacted or spoken with at this hotel have been, at the best, apathetic, at the worst, blatantly rude. They put our family in peril with their lack of customer care and competency. Made no effort to help us find alternative lodging, forcing us to drive home in a sleet and snow storm. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Arrived at this location only to find that our rooms were canceled by the hotel without notice. We arrived in town for business on one of the busiest weekends in Memphis. The Caucasian couple before us had the same cancellation issues and were accommodated. We were told by the front desk clerk to wait. She never helped us. And continued to help other guests. Luckily we were able to book another hotel thirty minutes away. Do yourself a favor and never book this property.

The worst Experience Ever! Do not stay, bedbugs issue! Me and my wife stayed in the hotel for two nights, my wife found 30 more spots on her. We had to throw some of the cloth away and completely clean everything. I contacted the hotel 3 times in 3 days but only received an email from hotel management after contacting IHG customer care. They then following sent me an email have an inspection check sheet from a local company, the inspector was in an out hotel in 50 mins, and the inspector checked 2 rooms, YES, TWO ROOMS. That means at least they have another room having bedbugs issue. The inspector probably only spends 20 mins top each room. if you look at the information online, the inspector should at least leave a sticky pad around and bed legs and come back to check again, and none of this happened. Worst hotel ever, do not stay unless you want to bring bedbugs to your own home!

I travel weekly and stay with holiday inn yes you pay more and expect more in return this is an Indian run hotel and when you pay $130 per night you expect coffee or tea in lobby breakfast in the morning and this is a High crime area as parking is in a high fence and they put in the elevator to get off the first floor you must use your key to get to your room so this tells me they either had a problem with drugs or prostitution at this hotel this is just an observation from a business traveler. I will choose another HIE for my next stay.

It was magical. Beautiful rooms right on a gorgeous lake. The owners are incredibly nice and a delicious unique breakfast every morning. We'd go back in second.

The furnitures at the lobby are old and full of stains. The floor of our room are full of scratches. The hallway on teh fourth floor had chemical smell. We got only two towels and there were three of us. The roomwas big though but i would rather stay in an updated hotel than run down.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk lady is very nice. Slow check in because she was the only one working. She did the best she could. Ambience was terrible in the lobby. Half the lights were not on, the TV was turned off, and the restaurant and bar were closed due to being short staffed. One of the reasons I picked this place was because of the convenience of having a restaurant on site. They should’ve had something posted on the IHG app so I would’ve had a heads up. I would stay here again for the rooms but would definitely consider other options that are in the same price range.

My wife and I had planned to be here for 3 nights celebrating our 20yrs of marriage. On December 17th, the very first night, we wanted to check out. Changed rooms 7 times and every time, the room haven't been cleaned. The last one we took was partially cleaned, shoes sticking to the floor when not walking on the carpet area, no toilet paper at all, no Kleenex, infested with ladybugs, cold air blowing from heater and all they said was that there were no more rooms and there's nothing we can do about all our issues. The parking lot was nowhere half full, so I guess all the people that stayed there had been dropped off...yeah right. Go stay at the Motel 6, where they'll keep the light on for you and give you a clean room.

Not veteran friendly or dog friendly, even if your an IHG member. Call on the phone while on the road, book my stay on the premises contingent that a dog fee is $60. I then show up in person, they tell me no dogs are allowed on the property. Next, I decide to cancel and they tell me there is a $300 fee for my dog, but suggest "I couldn't afford that". What sort of business practices is IHG condoning via its partnership with Holiday Inn? Who knows. All I can say is I will remember how they made me feel, and cannot recommend.

For a hotel that is a few years old this place isn’t kept up very well. First off, the room they put us in had bugs!!! Not a few but a lot. The man at the desk asked what kind of bugs, like that even matters, the room also had water damage and cracks in the walls. The second room was better but there was mold in the bathroom under the sink and cabinets as well as stained tub. The free breakfast was awful. Dried hard powder eggs and burnt gravy with hard biscuits. And of course out of order pancake maker. Here’s some advise if it’s not working move it out of customer veiw. Don’t show people something they can’t have. To top it all off the owner/ manager was at the front desk and she knew what happened and didn’t say or do anything to make our stay better. The man at the desk knew we were in town for a funeral, maybe it was poor communication on his part with the manager but customer service was terrible. Won’t stay here again.
