Clean store and the foods are exceptional. I've been to too many BBQ restaurants here (not happy) and this by far is THE BEST!!!! Rib Tips are tender and the sides made me think of home (up NORTH). I will recommend to all who have ears. Today trying the one on Hickory. Don't let me down lol .

On your way to or from the airport and need some bbq on the way? This is the spot. 12min from the airport and just a +4min detour (and less than 10min for the food to get ready), this place will make you reconsider leaving Memphis. I had the shoulder plate, it was chopped but still got texture, and so smokey and tender it made me realize I had never had good bbq before. Want extra smoke? Get the beans.

Front cashier was very rude by the name of Ashley was too busy being mean and didn’t hear when I asked for a turkey smoke sausage and gave me a pork one instead!!!!! I don’t eat pork and it gave me a major headache after I bit into it I knew it was pork

The lady with the locs taking the orders, was rude as hell. We literally just got done driving 3 hrs and wanted some rib tips. Attitudes don’t mix well when it comes to serving the public! and that’s apart of the reasons most black restaurants won’t thrive. The BBQ sauce tasted like a mix of sweet baby rays. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t nothing like Chicago. I’ll never spend another dollar at A&R.
