My friends and I decided to go to A-Tan on Valentine’s Day and we had a great experience. We were seated within 10 minutes and were kept entertained as we awaited our chef to begin. Each course was expertly prepared and tasted great. I especially liked the heart shaped rice that he created during the meal preparation. Overall the food was great and we had an enjoyable evening.

Online it said Japanese steakhouse, then the menu said Chinese. It ends up they had both on the menu. Food was good, I just had chicken fried rice. Good portions.

Be Careful When Ordering From this Restaurant! On my recent visit my order didn’t match what I received, and the receipts had errors that resulted in overcharges. Not only is there an automatic 18% GRATUITY but the staff also didn't completely correct things when it was pointed out to them out. Be sure that you double-check everything before leaving and ensure it's accurate before paying.
Hopefully the restaurant addresses these issues soon because the experience could be much smoother with more attention to detail.

This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. I love hibachi. However, all hibachi restaurants don’t deliver the quality that I am seeking. The seasoning of the food at A-Tan is always perfect. No extra seasonings are needed. I don’t have to drench my food with sauces either because the taste is always good.

They did not want to move us to another table because 4 people can’t get their own table but then another group of 4 came in and GOT THEIR OWN TABLE!! They also charged me an 18% gratuity WITHOUT TELLING US and it was NOT worth MY money!!

The chicken and shrimp portions were FOR A KID!! The noodles and rice portions was not enough. 2/10 service.

I placed a to go order and upon receiving the order I asked for soy sauce they stated it was in the bag. I checked the bag before I left and there was non in the bag. I went back to get the soy sauce and the cashier wanted argue with me that there was soy sauce in the back. I went to get the bag to show them no soy sauce was in the bag. Arguing with a customer about soy sauce is very unprofessional.
