I’m so disappointed by the customer service I received at Adlines today. I’ve been patronizing this business for years, but today I simply wanted an order of 5 pieces honey gold whole wings and a large okra. I went into the store about 10 minutes after they opened because no one picked up the phone for me to place an order after 11am. The cashier said they were out of okra so I just decided to order the honey gold whole wings. I paid for my wings and the cashier told me he would call me when my order was ready. About 45 minutes later I got a call from a different Adlines employee saying they didn’t have honey gold sauce and then asked if I wanted a different sauce. I was craving honey gold and after waiting all that time only to be told they don’t have the sauce, I said I just wanted a refund. When I arrived to the store to process the refund, the original cashier, who was now in the back cooking said they had honey gold sauce. I still wanted a refund but asked if they could offer something for my inconvenience. The new cashier said the cook could still make the order but she didn’t mention the refund would no longer be provided if he did. That was not accommodating me or acknowledging their fault, so ultimately I asked for the refund. It was a real inconvenience for me to wait for almost an hour for wings when I could have been told from the beginning that they were out of the sauce. I understand they were unwilling to offer the entire 5 piece for free, (which totaled $11.50) but to not offer as much as a free drink, fries, etc. for inconveniencing me shows that they don’t value their customers, respect their time or appreciate their business. No wings are that good to continue patronizing a business that shows blatant disregard to your experience and is inflexible to the point that they are unwilling to at the very least apologize for poor service, or offer to make it right for the customer by offering a little more than a refund for the business’ mishap.

They still have the $8 5 wing combo. I went because I hadn’t been since before Covid. The wings are so small, I should have got two combos!! I feel like Professor Klump

I Love Adeline the employees are very nice and friendly they even greet me when I come in they all say hey Ms Ann my food is always fresh and delicious they will show you your food before you leave to see if you’re satisfied and yes 🙌🏽 I’ve made myself a regular customer great Job you guys

Just terrible you to support your own and everytime it's something. I called 4 minutes til 11and she said they'll aking orders at 11. So I called at 11:07 and now they don't have NO chicken! 🤷🏿‍♂️

I placed an online order went to go pick it up and they told me what I ordered they was out of and they going to send a refund 5 days has gone by no refund and giving me the run around bout my refund

I had a taste for wings and thought of Adline. The cook and front counter person saw me come inside, but were focused on their conversation. About 2mins passed, the lady spoke and said she needed to wash her hands & would be right with me. That was All good with me. I ordered 5 whole wings Flaming hot flavor only 😋 , came with a roll & veggies. My order was ready in about 10 or 15 minutes. Let me just say, them thangs were cooked well & rightly seasoned! The carrots & celery were skimpy, but I came for the wings. I met the owner outside the restaurant and he was kind & friendly and asked me to come back.

Slow and hateful! If orders are gone take an hour even when slow the very least you could do Is be nice. Also why is it 90 degrees in the lobby

Adlines had really gone down hill, the wings are little and small. They are extremely lazy inside there, when they do get your order right it’s nasty. Uncooked chicken, never able to order anything straight off the menu how you just say yall not serving burgers?! The atmosphere is trash it looks like they started fixing this place up and stopped two years ago. They always out of drinks, this restaurant is on its last leg. Please shut it down and put a wing stop right here

Great food, food is cooked to order. Service is average. They were out of ice but the food made up for my experience. I would visit again.

The food already high and they still want to charge you 50 cent to use a card! That’s crazy! Just put it in the price of everything that way we don’t feel like people are getting played out of their money!

Adlines has went completely down hill. I have been going for about 2/3 years now and I haven’t had a bad day until 1/2/25….i knew something was off when I got home and sauce all over the plate; Fries drenched in wing sauce & the wings didn’t have a crisp to it. BUT WHAT GOT ME WAS THE KNOTS AND TURNS MY STOMACH WAS GOING THROUGH AFTER EATING IT. I COULD BARELY STAND UP WITH THE ACHES AND PAINS I WAS EXPERIENCING IT WAS HURTING SO BAD I COULDNT GO TO WORK… I HAD TO MAKE LEMON WATER TO SETTLE MY STOMACH. And not only did I eat it but my daughter ate a plate of chicken as well, she also got sick. One of the wings were old and re fried 😤. THEY FELL OFF SO BAD AND I RANDOMLY GO SO JUST IMAGINE THE REGULARS.
