I had the privilege of dining with this establishment for the first time, and I must say it was delicious!!! My Lady told me about this place, but my coworker, who is from African took me. Maaaaan, that grilled chicken was sooooooo seasoned and flavorful plus juicy 😋 and I don't know what they called the pasta, but it was fye 🔥🔥🔥🔥 The service was quick and excellent. They were nothing but smiles their !!! I forward to going back and trying something I've never eaten before 🤷🏾♂️😅 If you're around Millbranch and Brooks Rd, stop in and try them out. You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! ✌🏾✌🏾

I'm from Chicago and I've had some of the best foods you can eat. I love African food I had a place I use to go to in Chicago years ago called Tohans the food was the best African food that I and many of friends & family have ever had! I'm still searching for food as good as that restaurant. I'd like to also say that my step father was Nigerian and he & his family & friends cooked there native dishes all the time so I am well aware of what's really good and what's mediocre. The food at this restaurant was good. I tried the Egusi stew & the Saka-Saka. I enjoyed both. The portions of each dish was a fair size. The meal includes Fufu or white rice. I got rice. The sides of rice was generous. I do recommend this restaurant if you enjoy African cuisine! The exterior needs a make over so come for the food and not the building. They can make it more inviting maybe by tightening up the area and adding some cultural accents or large potted plants to make it look more established & inviting. Nevertheless the food is good & they have been there for years. Memphis is becoming more diverse and more people are coming wanting to eat more than just barbecue. This restaurant with its international menu is a gem for Memphis and I hope to see them flourish and encourage more foreigners to create restaurants & share there delicious foods so we can have more options to choose from. Oh! A little African music would be nice & inviting for people wanting to dine in.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the African restaurant on Mill Branch Road in Memphis, Tennessee, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that perfectly complemented the authentic ambiance.
I decided to try the Jollof rice with chicken, which was an excellent choice. The dish was flavorful, with perfectly seasoned rice and tender chicken that really made the meal memorable. It's clear that the chef takes great pride in delivering authentic cuisine that stays true to its roots.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure that every visitor felt at home. Their service added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. Without a doubt, this restaurant is a treasure for anyone looking to indulge in delicious African cuisine in Memphis.
If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by this fantastic restaurant for an authentic taste of Africa and a delightful visit.

Good food but an unorganized business. I order grill fish a lot they say it will be ready in 30 min. How about 45 min to hour. I only go here once a month now from once to twice a week.

The grilled fish over white rice w/ grilled onions in some kind of sauce was absolutely delicious. This was my first time trying African food and they did not disappoint. I also took a risk trying the flower drink and it was so good. I will definitely be back❤️
