Prepare yourselves. This is a long one. Went to Alfred's on New Year's Eve looking for a place to eat before the ball drop, or in this case the disco ball rises, and saw that it wasn't as packed as other places, probably my first mistake. After paying the $10 each cover to get in, my guest and I sat ourselves at a table that would make it easier to get in and out, if the place got crowded. I understand that having a live dj and being new year's eve meant that it might be loud, but I wasn't expecting the music being sooo loud that you couldn't hear yourself think or have to yell to place your order inside.
Anyway, with that out of the way, here is a breakdown.
Food: 2 stars. I had the wings starter and half rack of ribs plate while my guess had the catfish plate. The 6 whole wings barely had meat on them, the sauce was mid with barey any heat, and the ribs...hard to pull apart and drenched in sauce. I didn't finish the plate. My guest said the fish was ok. I only got one beer so I'm not sure if there drinks are any good.
Service: 4 stars. Our waitress, God bless her, was trying her best to be as attentive as possible given the noise and even brought my guest's jacket to me after she forgot it at her seat. Though other staff were ok.
Atmosphere: 3 stars. As mentioned earlier, you would think that a place right in the heart of where all of the festivities are would be packed and jumping. Far from it, and my ears are still ringing from all of loud music inside. Also it wasn't helped by people coming by trying to offer you the typical tourist trap things like photos and flowers.
Price: 1 star. They need to update the price range on here, lol. The $10 cover was truly the first sign that this place was not the right call, probably the reason that it wasn't as busy as other restaurants (some of which didn't have a cover), but was only just the beginning. We wanted water to start. Our waitress said it would be bottled and because of the LOUD music we thought she said $1. Turns out, the charged $4 for each bottle, which is more than the $3 coke my guest got. The wings? Oh boy, being charged the market rate came out to $20 for wings...as a starter. The pulled pork plate only costs $16 btw. The half rack of ribs plate, also market rate? $27, and you couldn't sub out any of the sides, so I had to pay extra for fries, which were pretty decent, ngl. Again, the food was mid at best (you could probably find better wings and ribs at a gas station tbh).
Overall: Honesty would give it 2.5 stars if I could. Will I come back here the next time I'm on Beale? No. There are better places on Beale than this place, sadly.

Unexpected great lunch spot. I have seen this bar at various levels of sober over the years but just recently 100% sober for a work lunch. The dance floor brings oool ambiance, and they play really great music through the speakers during the day. The food was the unexpected. They smoke their own BBQ. All the dishes were great, particularly the chicken wings, chicken tenders, anything bbq and salads. Really great service.

We stopped on Beale street to stretch our legs looking for lunch but not much open at 2pm. We were greeted by Mitchell letting us know they were open for lunch as we walked by so we decided to try it out. Definitely worth it! Ribs, chicken sandwich and chicken tenders as well as appetizers were amazing! We were stuffed and impressed!

First restaurant I ate at when visiting doe the Mo ica concert and the food, service, and drinks were terrible. Food was cold and bland, drinks were watered down and the service was slow. 0/100
