Food is decent but entirely too expensive. Went tonight with 2 kids, each got a steak burrito and I ordered enchiladas. $65!!!! Thatβs crazy

Monday night 06/16/25 around 8:30pm my girlfriend and I stop by restaurant. I told her good things about this place because my mother and I eat there alot dinning in and carry out. Never had a problem. This night we were in a rush because, I work out of town. She ordered her food and guy ask her chicken or beef. She told him beef I paid for it. No tip because we got drinks at bar. My girlfriend open her food, its good she looked because what i paid for was not in the bag. I spent almost $58 drinks food and tip.
That made me look bad. Telling her how good food was the food wasn't in bag.

The food prices are very high itβs no real mexican food for one sandwich and one drink $24.95 lm asking for hot salsa charge me $ 2 more dollars is ridiculous
Great food!
I did a pick up order during the snow in Memphis in January 2025. They were open late night where others would be closed. The service was A+, the dood was fresh and prepared accurately, and the atmosphere was safe and cozy for any in dining youβd want to do. I plan on making this my dive in for Mexican food regularly!
Whenever I visit Memphis this is my go to spot!

Ordered 2 x $4 sodas, $4 cheese dip, $13 combo, $5 quesadilla = $30 / Like a FOOL I handed her my credit card when she brought the check...without looking. Then like an EMBECILE I added $10 to the $46 total and signed...FOR FIFTY SIX DOLLARS. I called 20 minutes later to learn they automatically add 15% gratuity to the check (2 diners at a Mexican restaurant on Macon in Memphis!?!?) They failed to explain the other $10.
No good deed goes unpunished, they say.
The shame is the food was quite good. I told them I won't be back for their good food however because I can't trust them (if they toy with the check, what do they do in the kitchen?)
I was reminded of the necessity of reviewing the check before paying it, after 45 years of dining out. MY BAD, but they >facilitated< me paying $56 for $30 worth of food...and couldn't explain why.
Delicious chicken, chorizo and shrimp! Great margaritas too.
Great food and great drinks! Love the green sauce and the patio! Service was also great!
