I will not be returning! The wait time for the food was excessive, and the quality was disappointing. The brisket was unexpectedly chopped and dry, and the ribs were primarily end pieces and old. Only the fried okra seemed fresh; the mac&cheese wasn't pleasing and the fries appeared to have been sitting after being cooked. A gratuity was added to the bill without prior notification. I paid $57 plus change for a meal that was unsatisfactory. Although the waitress provided a replacement plate of brisket, it was unfortunately just as unappetizing as the first. In town to surprise my Mother for a belated Mother’s Day and we found this FABULOUS little place ♥️ OMG not only was the food Amazing but the Hospitality and Service, second to none! Will be back tomorrow to grab a plate for our mother!! Ms Sharon (our grandmother always told us as kids to add Mr or Ms to the first name of someone we just met so old habits die hard….its a respect thang 😎) served us and her suggestions and shear kindness will have us not only coming back but sending everyone we know to Arnold’s BBQ! I had the Catfish with collard greens and Mac & Cheese, Peach Cobbler, Sweet Tea and was in Heaven! We also shared some rib tips to start… WOW

Great service… FANTASTIC food! Very clean and affordable process definitely recommend it. Basket of ribs is great, and cat fish is ridiculously delicious.

The catfish was dried out. The mac-n-cheese felt old when you chewed it. The brisket was covered in a cheap tasting bbq sauce. They charged $1 for adding season salt to the fries. They added a surprise 20% gratuity. It was a waste of time and money.

1. Easel at the advertised a rib and catfish special or a rib and brisket special. I wanted four rib and catfish special so I placed and order to go. I was then informed they were out of ribs. 2. Ok, may I have three half chicken dinners and one pork shoulder dinner. Paid for the dinners, sat down to wait. A woman from behind the counter came out and apologized and stated they didn't have the three half chickens. 3. I had already paid and ordered so I changed it to a pork shoulder, one half chicken, two pulled pork. Receipt was not adjusted of course and I didn’t care at that point as I had already disconnected from being interested in the meal. 4. They bring out the orders and I ended up with three pulled pork and one chicken dinners.

We found this gem while passing through Memphis. Everything we had was absolutely delicious ~ especially the collard greens. They were the best collards I have ever had in my life and I am a huge fan of collards. When speaking to the chef, we learned that he uses no meat to season them, which is amazing considering the taste. It was fantastic. Whenever we are passing through Memphis again, this will be our first stop.
