Good dim sum in Memphis area. Dim sum carts that get wheeled around from table to table happens on Saturday and Sunday. I did mine takeout and I was able to choose from those carts.
Updated 07/07/2025 We go here periodically primarily for Dim Sum. It's the go to place for that type of food in my opinion On weekends they serve the dim sum using steamed push carts. On Fridays you can order most of the dim sum items off the menu. On weekdays I suspect they do the same but a not sure since don't go there for it on week days. Most of the standard food ( har gaw, sui mei, cheung fun, sticky rice, baos , etc) items are very good and reasonably priced for this area. Expect to overall spend around $20-25 per person. The ambience on weekends is noisy and busy especially Sundays. The eatery is filled with plenty of Asians in weekends as families gather.

My wife and I visited DSK yesterday. Despite my extremely positive review earlier, I recently most of what I said previously. After ordering she received her food within about 10 minutes. I, on the other hand, had to wait over 45 minutes for my food...even after repeated requests by myself as to my order plus multiple inquiries by serving staff asking if I had been served my food yet. [I ordered N2 - Chicken With Pan Fried Noodle.] Have they grown and expanded to the point that customers have to wait this long to be served!? I used to really enjoy and recommend this place. I SEEEEERIOUSLY doubt I'll ever go back.

The food is pretty good here! But on a busy day the service is beyond awful…. We received our waters at the end of our meal. I would recommend the shumai and the yellow custard bread.

I was very impressed by the huge restaurant, nice authentic experience! The dim sum menu options and portions are perfect! There's pictures on the menu so you know exactly what you're ordering- super helpful! Nice quiet friendly atmosphere with plenty to look at. Food is fresh and served quickly. On Saturdays it gets crowded quick but the food is served on carts for you to choose from so many choices!

The food was Great and the service was great the only thing the family didn't like was, on the menu it said domestic beer but only had imported beer. But other than that it's a Great place to eat

I rarely get the chance to dine in here, but I get take out at least once a month. It’s always phenomenal. My go-to dishes are the shu mai, potstickers, shrimp har gow, shrimp rice noodle roll, crab rangoon, and supreme soy fried noodles. They’re extremely consistent, and the customer service is great, too.

I’m not sure what the hype is about, but my dining experience at Dim Sum King was beyond disappointing. Upon arrival, the hostess didn’t greet me, appearing distracted. After placing my order, the male server never returned to check in, leaving me feeling ignored. As for the dim sum, it was nothing special ~ just average. Overall, the lack of service and underwhelming food didn’t live up to expectations. I won’t be returning.
