Tried the Friday night Happy Hour and the super friendly staff sold me! We came back Saturday for brunch and again on Sunday because it was so good and reasonably priced. Food was served promptly. Enjoyed the background music, not overpowering but enhanced the vibe. Great value and great food and drinks. Shout out to Carletha!

Came here with friends for Downtown Dining Week and decided to order from special menu. Waitress was not very friendly. $6 martinis was nice bonus but the drink (Flaming lily pad) I got tasted like pure vodka and like none of the others flavors supposedly in it, so I didn't enjoy it very much. The others enjoyed their Raspberry Lemon Drop martinis though. Appetizers : The Monte Cristo lollipops were good. Small portions but unsure if this was due to special menu. Buffalo chicken dip was very good as well and loved the crispy wontons served with it. We needed more wontons for the amount of dip we received, but I didn't know I would be charged an extra $4 for those until the bill came. ENTREE: 3 others at my table all got the brioche bun hot chicken sliders with brussel sprouts. They seemed to like the sandwiches but NOT the brussel sprouts and portions were pretty small. I ordered the chicken fried steak over cheddar mash potatoes. It was delicious!! It had a maple sausage flavor that I enjoyed very much and would definitely order again, nice portion size here. Desserts: Not sure what happened here but we ordered the Red Velvet and the Chocolate Chip Brownie and they were both gross. That was everyone's concensus.

Enjoyable Saturday brunching with $3 mimosas. We walked from the hotel to indulge in a steak omelette and crab benedict. Highly recommend adding biscuits. We were happy and full. It is a casual vibe with friendly helpful staff. Figure out the parking before you head that way. Well worth the hassle.

Expect 20% automatic gratuity for 2 people. Went for brunch on a Saturday. Went for the several eggs Benedict options and various waffles. Hubs had the brisket benie said it was nothing special just okay and the $3 Bloody Mary was a $3 dollar Bloody Mary. I had a cinnamon roll waffle I was expecting a cinnamon roll made into a waffle and it was a waffle with some cinnamon in it and cream cheese icing on top, not as much as u would get on a true cinnamon roll. I got a side of bacon which was sub average. The service started strong and friendly but hubs never got asked if he wanted another Bloody Mary and they at first added a “to go fee” of 10% on a sit in, which we had to point out. And a 2% fee for credit card. Would recommend Sunrise over here.

Great food, pretty decent service, high prices. $12 for a plain waffle seems a bit steep. Chicken fried chicken was great and so were the hash browns. Service was pretty decent considering there was only one server handling the whole restaurant. So to her, I give major kudos!
Waiter was very passive never asked me if i wanted another beer and i wanted to order crab cakes at 0345 and they said i couldnt have them til 0400. Buddy whats 15 mins gonna make. Customer service was trash. Get it together.

We had such an enjoyable experience at Automatic Slim’s. Jennifer gave us such friendly service and conversation about Memphis as we were visiting from out of state. The shrimp and grits and rib dinner were both very delicious and we enjoyed a few wonderful martinis as well.

Please open one in Columbus Ohio! Alternately: May I live in your fridge and work for my daily vittles? IDK why this place is so underrated. Easily listed alongside any AAA four+star or Michelin-rated restaurants I've been to in the last 25 years or so. The cocktail was good, the grits are CORRECT, and the service is quick and unfussed.
