Our server was so attentive and helpful. The menu is strange a huge mix of dishes from crab cakes to tacos. The food was mediocre. Nothing stands out? The guacamole was very salts. I would not recommend.

We recently celebrated a friend's birthday. I have been to this Babalu several times for lunch, with my husband, with co-workers, and with friends. It's just a wonderful environment. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I usually order the chicken tender salad with the hot honey mustard on the side and no arugula. THE BEST! They make the guacamole at the table, which is pretty cool!

Nice place. Really cute! I got the Honey Shrimp and Steak on the stick. The dishes are well presented..so cute and really good! Only thing I can say is the Brussel sprouts were alittle overcooked but the potatoes and steak were really good. I also had the Guava Rita, super good with the pink peppercorn! They do have outside seating on the backside by the bar.

We really enjoy coming to this restaurant — the atmosphere is always great, and one of the reasons we keep coming back is because of the longtime bartenders. It says a lot about a place when employees stick around, and it shows in the service and vibe they create.
That said, today felt a little off. The manager, Kyle, decided to test the bartenders’ pouring skills right in front of the entire bar, and it came across as micromanaging — especially when one of the bartenders had just finished his shift. It felt unnecessary and honestly a little uncomfortable to watch.
Long-term employees should be celebrated and trusted, not publicly questioned. We still love this place, but hope that the management shows a little more appreciation and respect for the team that clearly helps make it so successful.
