What a waste of time and money especially celebrating my birthday due to a recommendation. Noticed management walking around even at the bar announced and acknowledges every person that was present that wasn’t black of course. The waitress service was extremely awfully slow and dish provided “Bun Cha Ha Noi” uncooked pink inside pork balls wasn’t cooked, Banh Xeo dish was served tasteless lacked flavor very watery. Presented to waitress and didn’t care to acknowledge or offer any alternative or explanation for the matter when asked. Waitress to be uninterested No apology nor anything to be said. And not once did the manager come over and apologize for the uncooked pork dishes. As a previous Post mentions over the top garnishing and prices. And it shows that you have no idea what authenticity is or means. Just rubbish! The bartender is the best that you have otherwise the food is rubbish and poor quality descriptions.

Excellent atmosphere and service. Really good ambience. But the food doesn't feel vietnamese. It is more a american vietnamese fusion and does disappoint a bit.

Foods aren’t so impressive. Overpriced with small portion. The environment is nice but will not pay that price. First and last time

Came here on a rainy night for a friend's birthday dinner. Really enjoyed the food. We had almost everything on the menu. Everything was good and we had a great vibe.

Memphis mid town got a new player in the chic dining scene, and I was excited to check it out. The vibe? Totally sleek and modern, buzzing with energy even on a late Sunday evening. We had a reservation and were seated right away, which was a plus because the place was packed.

We kicked things off with a shrimp appetizer and a sliced beef dish—both were absolute standouts. Flavorful, well-executed, and a solid 10/10. But then came the drinks… and that’s where things started to go downhill. I ordered a cucumber cooler expecting something light and refreshing, but what I got was a weak, watered-down version that completely missed the mark. And let’s talk about timing—our non-alcoholic drinks arrived halfway through the main course. Not exactly ideal. Oh, and the price tag? Way too steep for what was served.

For the main course, I went for a grilled pork and beef patty infused with authentic Vietnamese herbs and sauces. It had a bold, distinctive taste (fair warning: the fish sauce aroma is strong), but I actually enjoyed it. It came with cold noodles and a fresh salad, making for a well-rounded dish. Others at my table weren’t as lucky—one friend’s fish dish turned out rubbery and underwhelming.

The verdict? The atmosphere is on point- with all that Asian vibe and decor and dimmed lights. Maybe a great place for a romantic occasion. In our experience, the appetizers are a win, but the execution across the board is inconsistent. Some dishes might be an acquired taste, so choose wisely. And if you’re expecting top-tier service or craft drinks, you might want to adjust your expectations.

Loved all the food we tried (temple tofu, shrimp/pork crepe, and banana blossom salad)! The waiter was kind and friendly, and it’s beautiful inside the restaurant. The one thing is that it’s a little dark. Can’t wait to go back and try their cocktails!

Dietary restrictions: Very gluten free friendly and vegan friendly!

Extremely disorganized with staff who don’t pay attention to their guests. When I went in I was told 20 minutes wait for a bar seat. Half an hour later when I asked for an update they told me they don’t give time estimates for bar seats. It turns out the person who gave me the incorrect wait time was the general manager—wow! While I was waiting, a party of ten, who had a reservation, came in and waited twenty minutes before they were told the restaurant didn’t have a record of their reservation. They had an event to get to so no dinner for them I guess. I was just scouting the place for future business dinners so it wasn’t a big loss for me other than my time, but I would certainly be hesitant to ever plan anything here.

We were excited to try this new restaurant and made a reservation in advance. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated, and the service started off exceptionally well. Our server, Katerina, was attentive and welcoming—until our main dishes arrived.

After that, service became noticeably slower. We ran out of water and drinks, but no one checked on us for nearly 25 minutes. When Katerina finally returned, she refilled our water, but by then, it was clear we had already finished our meals. Another 15 minutes passed before we were checked on again, at which point we requested the bill.

That being said, the food was absolutely delicious, which is why we’re willing to give Boa Toan another try. However, at this price point, we expected a more consistent level of service throughout the meal.

Everything was great but WARNING, when offered “sparkling or still water” we chose sparkling… only to find out we were being charged $16 for sparkling water.

Food is decent at best, absolutely overprice, and I don’t have any hopes of it improving later on. Flavors are water downed.

Ordered three items: banh cuon, kho quet, cha ca thang long. Sauce from kho quet was pretty good but the veggies were left in humongous chunks that we had to break down. Banh cuon was nostalgic but very basic. Cha ca thang long was good concept but execution falls flat and eating everything together didn’t give an epiphany. Overall, nothing to write home about.

This is more of a bar instead of an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Felt like we were the only Asians there as customers. Had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the menu. Spent about $100 total for 3 items and left hungry. They didn’t tell us anything about desserts so guess they don’t have any.
