It was 1030 on a Sunday morning in October. We needed some brunch. Decided to check out Barksdale. Waited on line about 5 mins for a table, they were really crowded so you know the food had to be good! The waiter promptly took our drink order. I ordered a 2 stack pancakes and an All American. Definitely worth the wait. It was all good but loved the pancakes! Highly recommend this place for breakfast!!

Love me some Barksdale's!!! Good ol' fashioned diner-style comfort food, second to none (especially the breakfast dishes). My only small nitpick is the watery coffee - if you like a strong, bold, dark cup of joe, unfortunately you won't find that here. But the food and the friendly neighborhood service are more than enough to make up for it! Don't skip the griddle cakes with homemade honey butter - Highly recommended!
The food is okay it’s what you would expect from a breakfast diner however the service is horrible and I would not recommend to anyone I placed an order online 30 minutes prior to even coming in and they informed me that it was not ready yet I was fine with waiting however the food kept piling up at the window yet nothing was being bagged or taken to tables after about 15 minutes of my order just sitting and the counter and I asked the older server if it was my order that was just sitting there to which I received a rude response when I simply asked for a refund because by then the food was cold the server got mad and said no “we don’t do refunds here baby” before simply walking away I understand if you have tables or other customers however what I don’t understand is how you can completely ignore someone for almost 20 minutes by the time I got home the food was cold as I had said as I said. I will be reaching out to the manager the whole point of ordering online is for convenience. If I wanted okay food and crappy service I would have gone for fast food but instead I payed 11 dollars plus a tip for a cold breakfast biscuit

Service was great! Food was kind of bland. The honey butter was awesome for the biscuits. Cute little place for last minute breakfast closes at 2pm.
