I hate to be a Karen but I feel this needs to be said. I used to frequent this place often, especially because they serve their regular menu all day which is nice after working 12 hour night shifts, but I rarely go anymore. They recently discontinued their free refills on sweet tea, and it’s rare to actually get a fresh cup that doesn’t taste soured. I just got a turkey sandwich and they forgot to put the turkey on it. Everyone makes mistakes and that’s fine, but I couldn't even call the restaurant to ask to rectify the situation or get a refund because they do not answer the phone at all and you can’t leave a message. Very frustrating.

I was charged extra for a 16oz coffee. My receipt said an amount and my Amex notification said a different amount. The barista decided to make it a 14oz in a 16oz cup. When I said something they just brushed it off.
Edit: yes, the prices are different. The issue is I asked and paid for a 16oz and was given a 12oz.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and pick me up. Coffee was okay—ordered a honeysuckle latte, a little on the sweeter side for me so I’d probably go with a regular latte or cappuccino to appreciate the flavor of the espresso. Partner got a matcha latte, definitely on the milkier side and wasn’t really matcha forward. Toasted BLTA and chicken sandwich were yummy, the herb aioli was stellar! Chicken sandwich was a little on the pricier side for how large it was.
Service was great; had some complications with my drink but the staff was kind and remade my drink without much ask. There was a lack of organization in the place itself (te tex lack of paper towels), but I’m assuming that was just an off day. Slight ceiling condensation dripping that made some tables a little damp.

Love this location!
This is genuinely one of my favourite places in Memphis. The coffee is outstanding, easily the best espresso pulled around here. Syrups are homemade and the taste really shows it!
Place has the nicest atmosphere, cozy in every way. Staff are all very kind, service is prompt. Also a very inclusive place, rare to find openly LGBT+ friendly spaces it feels at times.
The BLTA is my favourite but all the food they make is wonderful, and can't recommend the lattes enough.
An absolute treasure of a place

Excellent coffee and simple sandwiches make this a perfect stop for a light lunch. This is a marvelous campus coffee shop with loads of tables for sipping coffee or studying.

Every time I end up having to settle for Belltower I regret it. They have no vent for their cooking smoke to go out of the building so you're constantly just sitting there breathing smoke. I can't tell if they don't pay their employees enough or if they just hate their lives, but I think it's one of those? The internet always glitches or doesn't work. You can tell nobody cares enough to clean anything. The university being close saves this place.

The signs says they are open till 6. I came in at 5:30 for a cup of coffee to go. She said she had already shut everything down. Probably should change there hours to closing at 5.

One of the best scones I’ve had in my life! Definitely recommend getting it warmed up. Breakfast biscuits are also excellent. And the lattes were lovely. Great atmosphere and good for even large groups.

I love Belltower café—it’s in such a great area! The sandwiches I’ve tried have all been delicious, and the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. Their coffee is fantastic, and I especially love that they do latte art. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot that I highly recommend!
