My grandmother had a terrible experience with customer service. She received burnt wings on her last order but decided to give the restaurant a second chance. After paying for her items she kindly asked the man not to burn the wings this time and he called her a liar to her face. Not once was she asking for a subsidized meal or discount. She simply expressed that she would like her meal prepared a certain way. She felt utterly disrespected. She didn’t even want to keep the new items she ordered. She asked for a refund and left the place frustrated. The customer may not always be right but you don’t disrespect your patrons when they have concerns regarding their food.

I recommend the Sunday soul-food menu. I ordered chicken, dressing, yams, and mac and cheese. My daughter ordered oxtails and the same sides. The food was good, the portion sizes were generous and the customer service was exceptional.

The very first time I came my husband brought me and introduced me to big mryt. He greeted me with so much love . And my food omg. He let le try his oxtails. I had to come in give him a hug . When he reads this you should know exactly who I am . We are yall biggest supporters. Thanks you guys .

The butter roll dessert was a cinnamon roll in disguise. I asked specifically was this an old fashion butter roll. I had to toss it. His hamburgers took 25 minutes to cook. When I asked how much longer he started telling me how long it takes to cook wings. The hamburgers were soggy when i got home. Found old tomatoes on them. Old tomatoes are soggy. His prices are ridiculous. I try so hard to go to black owned businesses to support. He was snappy and extremely unpleasant. The place was empty. Basically don't go there unless you have money to donate to a black business.
