I walked into this place for breakfast and they acted like I didn’t belong there. I sat at the bar to order food and the hostess asked me what can I do for you and looked at me like I was scum. Granted I was in a plain black tee and shorts but didn’t feel too oddly underdressed from the other patrons. Just an unwelcoming place I walked across the street to Arcade restaurant and had a lovely experience. You can try to be and act fancy like that but it doesn’t put money in your till when you make your customers feel like that … bye!!!

Very chicly designed with beautiful deep, dark blue walls throughout. The menu online is a mirror image of the menu presented when you dine, so I already had in mind what I wanted. While the beignets sounded amazing, I was dining solo and my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I started with the fromage brûlée that was served with thin sourdough slices, followed by the mussels and frites. Happy hour is 4-6 and I was able to take advantage of the river queen and honey sparkle cocktails at a discounted rate. Everything was delicious.
Derika was my server and she was knowledgeable, helpful, and professional.

This is an experience that was first Initiated by a thought, as all actions that are produced.
Unfortunately, mine started with a pressured date, or a Dutch casual meet.
Let's just surpass the Formalities what led to the not so rush very relaxing atmosphere.
The company in the room was a surprise, and a delight. I was not shocked to see the 4 individuals that were sitting of to the right of me.
Some years ago I had the pleasure to walk Their property that

This place was a vibe! Our server was Derika and she was amazing. Made the entire experience. Her drink recommendations were everything and more!!! Seriously would come back just for her.

Good Spot, Food has always been good , drinks as well. Service has always been bad in regards to the time it takes to be served or even handed a menu if you choose to sit at the bar, the three or so times I’ve visited I’ve seen many people simply walk out due to the lack of service. Hopefully they work on that because it is a nice spot.

The food at brunch was horrible—raw dough in the beignets, wilted lettuce in the salad, lukewarm food, bagel with the smoked salmon not even toasted. We will never be back.

This place is really nice inside. The food was pretty good, however, I do think it’s overpriced considering the portion sizes. My cocktail was great.

I came with my partner for dinner, and while the food we got was delicious, the service was shotty at best. For it being a Friday night, that’s not a great look unfortunately. Not sure if it was an off night, or what, but we were a bit surprised that such a nice restaurant would have lapses like these. We arrived for our 7:30p reservation, and were sat right away. The server was very sweet, and came to get drink orders right away, but then we didn’t see her for a while. We didn’t get anything complicated for drinks, just a soda water and an iced tea, and after we received it, we didn’t see our server for a while. Took a long time for her to come back around. We ordered the chips and onion dip, which took another 25ish minutes to come out, and then she took the plate away before it was empty. It was fine, as we were done, but surprised she didn’t even ask first if it was ok. We ordered some starters and our main courses. Then another 40 min or so went by. Barely saw our server, drinks never replenished until I had to call her over to get them refilled. Then all of a sudden our mains came out, no starters in sight. We asked what happened, and they were apologetic, saying that there was a mixup in the kitchen. That’s fine, it happens, but still disappointing. We ate our mains, which were delicious I had the burger and my partner the chicken. Both delicious, like I said. One of the next burgers I’ve had. We then ordered dessert and espresso. Espresso was meh, but the toffee pudding cake was great! The assistant manager was very kind, and came over to apologize for the mistakes, and comped our dessert and espresso. This was very much appreciated! As the food was delicious, I hope they figure out some of the issues!

The food was good but it was hard to find a parking lot. the service wasn’t the best. They put bacon on our avocado toasts when we told them no pork.

This place gets 5-stars for everything: 1) food (omg the biscuits and gravy all made in house including grinding their own sausage…so good); 2) atmosphere (perfectly bougie and moody in all the right ways); and 3) service (can I give 6 stars, or 20?). One employee, Christie Johnson, is now my favorite person on planet earth. After my great breakfast, I accidentally left a bag behind that I needed for work (it had everything in it I needed for a big talk at U Memphis that day)…I called the restaurant when I realized I had left it, and I was trying to think of the best way to get the bag quickly (pay a courier? Send it in an Uber ride?). Christie said she remembered me from that morning and said she would hand deliver my bag when her shift ended. First, what angel of a human offers this?! Second, the university campus is a good 25-min drive from the restaurant, so she really went out of her way to drive across town. Christie saved the day for me, saved my presentation, and then even followed up and asked how the talk went. I’m still blown away. Now the Bishop isn’t just a good meal for me, it’s a place I can’t wait to come back to again and again. Thank you, Christie!!!
