The food was good but it was hard to find a parking lot. the service wasn’t the best. They put bacon on our avocado toasts when we told them no pork.

This place gets 5-stars for everything: 1) food (omg the biscuits and gravy all made in house including grinding their own sausage…so good); 2) atmosphere (perfectly bougie and moody in all the right ways); and 3) service (can I give 6 stars, or 20?). One employee, Christie Johnson, is now my favorite person on planet earth. After my great breakfast, I accidentally left a bag behind that I needed for work (it had everything in it I needed for a big talk at U Memphis that day)…I called the restaurant when I realized I had left it, and I was trying to think of the best way to get the bag quickly (pay a courier? Send it in an Uber ride?). Christie said she remembered me from that morning and said she would hand deliver my bag when her shift ended. First, what angel of a human offers this?! Second, the university campus is a good 25-min drive from the restaurant, so she really went out of her way to drive across town. Christie saved the day for me, saved my presentation, and then even followed up and asked how the talk went. I’m still blown away. Now the Bishop isn’t just a good meal for me, it’s a place I can’t wait to come back to again and again. Thank you, Christie!!!

This place is amazing! Great atmosphere and the appetizers are a must have. If you have not had the opportunity to visit the Central Station after the remodel... this is a great reason to go.

Went on Valentine's Day. I have been here many times and I have to say that the past 3-4 times I've been have been disappointing. The food quality and service has seriously declined. On Valentine's Day, we waited 2 hours for our main course and the food was cold. We didn't complain because had been there so long and were ready to leave. The experience was not worth the $300 we paid. The atmosphere is perfect though which is the only thing that keeps me coming back. I hate that the food quality has declined so much. It's been noticeable every time I've gone in the past year.

This restaurant is sophisticated, tasty, and hospitable. While the menu is more limited than classic breakfast places, all the food items on the menu are to perfection. The modern twist on classics will definitely make breakfast delicious and interesting. The staff was perfect, always checking on us and always happy to help us. The manager at the end of our meal kindly asked us how our meal was and tended to the customers herself. This restaurant was perfect, not to mention the atmosphere! It had a modern vibe with beautiful decorations and definitely helped developed the fantastic meal. Thank you so much! It was fantastic.

We enjoyed an early New Year’s Eve dinner here and it was a lovely evening. However, the entree was only served with a starch, we had to add a salad to a limited menu to fully enjoy this smaller portioned meal at a fixed price. The service was very good which was an improvement from the last several times we dined there.

First time eating here. The food was good, nice wine list but as always the server can make or break an evening. A fair meal can be made excellent and a great meal lousy based on the server. Ours server last nite was among the best ever. Lisa was attentive, patient with our desires and just the greatest personality ever. Our evening was incredibly enhanced by her friendliness and vivaciousness. I really can’t praise her enough except to say I will only eat ther again if she is our server!!!!!Brian Kiel

Good food, customer service lacking. No response that I can find to customer reviews. Over $200 on what was planned to be a leisurely dinner that evolved into all dishes, appetizers, salad, entree, etc being delivered at the same time. The waitress commented “Oh, you wanted this slower?” but did nothing about it. Half the meal was cold before we could eat it. However, I don’t see owner responses to any reviews.

Woke up Christmas morning, completely ill prepared and HUNGRY! Started calling places in downtown Memphis for a resy. Like, WHO does that?!? Living on the edge. The woman answering the phone was super helpful and at 9am they were completely booked. She suggested to come between 11:15-11:30 for 2 seats at the bar!!ON POINT TO the minute. We arrived a little bit early BUT the seats were ready at exactly 11:15 lol.. she's accurate! Ascetically, I really loved the chic farmhouse vibe! The place was pretty clean overall!Staff- everyone very welcoming- Southern Hospitality through and through! Anywho, the food! we had the cinnamon roll to start, everything bagel with steak, and the fish sandwich! The Salty dog with Gin instead of Vodka and mimosa with pineapple juice! I will note that for the breakfast/ brunch menu only contained pork, beef and one fish option. Our food choices were 10/10 on everything!

I would recommend a 10/10 to Not visit this restaurant. I did not have a pleasant experience. I visited with a group for a Holiday Jingle. Unfortunately, several parties were served before us. It just so happened that we were the only minorities in the venue. Management came out with 5 others to serve us after we spoke up about this issue. Unacceptable. Put a sign on the door if you prefer not serve everyone.

Bishop is located inside Hilton. The breakfast we had was our favorite meal during our trip. We had breakfast here twice. The combo breakfast was so delicious. Never knew grits can be so darn tasty! Eggs were perfectly cooked and portions were abundant. Service was excellent and they also had good selections of music playing. Highly highly recommend!!
