We got there around 1:10am. We were greeted by the waitress once we sat ourselves. She immediately informed us that the kitchen would be closing at 1:30 if we were ordering food. Within 5mins we knew exactly what we were ordering, a smashburger with fries and philly with fries. The waitress took our order followed by her coming back a few mins later to apologize to us if it seemed like she was rushing us, but she wanted to be sure our order went in before 1:30. Later she returned to apologize about the wait and offered FREE shots. We DECLINED because we were ONLY there to eat. Again, she returned, saying she didn't know why it was taking so long, but would comp our meal at 20%. Then, in the same sentence she said, "NO 50%". We accepted the offer while patiently waiting. 15mins later she returned and said, since it has taken so long it would be free and the cooks were boxing it up and when she brings it we could just eat and leave and not to worry about the ticket. 5 minutes later, the lights come on. She then comes to the table and say the cooks got into an argument over who missed the ticket and they've gotten into a fist fight in the kitchen, and our food would NOT be made. The waitress had LIED the entire time. My thoughts are that she NEVER put our order in because other patrons had gotten their food. It was exactly 2:34am when she told us this. Highly PISSED we got up and left. So mad about the situation I immediately called from outside while walking down Main St. someone answered the phone and once I asked to speak to a manager the guy hung up the phone. I called again he hung up. My friend called from another phone and no one answered. 0/10 I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND!!!

Would give zero.went on Wednesday night.gothic girl on bar argued with me that a double vodka was 21 dollars! You can buy a bottle of premium vodka for less you silly girl.had been previous night and was 9 dollars.she had added a liquor tax and tips.then should me the policy.but if policy why not night before.clearly abusing foreign customers and was too busy trying to seduce other customers.think she realised me and my friend wasn't interested.avoid at all costs is my advice.she told the manager who was the one who had served us previous night.very suspicious activity! Tell your staff to stop begging for tips and trying to come on to customers.very sleazy!

Ordered the hibernation fries and wings the bartender was so rude yall light skin bald guy brought the food out and didn’t give no silverware or water or anything or didn’t even check if we were good imFrom Chicago im a bartender myself and I know how it can be but long story short it was a long string of black hair in my food I literally pulled out my mouth understanding he was by him self I tried to get his attention he walked off and told me ok alright n kept stocking his dishes and than after my aunt whom bday it was tried getting his attention he brought me my money back and walked off didn’t say sorry or anything and continued with his shift I will never bw back they have the worst customer service doesn’t make no sense

Went the other night for the first time. Service was great. Didn't have Fernet nor Green Chartreuse at the time. Cool space. Bartender almost lost my card, but didn't, lol. Nothing on the cocktail menu jumped out at me so I just asked for the yellow Chartreuse they had on hand. Nice outside seating.Oh and somewhere it said automatic gratuity, and I noticed it wasn't actually automatic, so I was pleasantly surprised.

This is ridiculous... me and my crew came to visit last year for the 1st time because a friend invited us out, seemed like a nice spot. This bartender I think that his name is Tre, African American, slim, light skinned, bald guy that's always working behind the bar. Anyway when we first visited his customer service was horrible, he was rude, it took him a long time to take our order and he didn't even have any other customers, then when he finally decided to take our order he then slid our drinks to us disrespectfully and walked off, we ordered food he brought the food to us and sat it down and walked off again, never asked did we need anything else never checked back on us. We literally had to try to get his attention to get some service. ?? we never returned after that. Fast forward we were out last night and wanted to get something to eat (good food, good drinks by the way) so we decided to give this place another chance on hopes that this guy had gotten fired by now or is no longer there. We get in the building he was the 1st person that we saw. We didn't go in with a negative vibe hoping that at least the owner has talked to him and he's straightened up. NO!!! He was the exact same!!!... nasty attitude, horrible service 0 d@% stars once again. It makes you wonder if he is the owner or if he has invested into this business because there's no way that the owner is still letting him work there unless he has something on them!!! Automatic gratuity will ruin a business if your employees feel that they don't have to put effort into their work because they know that they still are going to get a tip regardless?? I need for the owner to respond to this review personally because I see that they only respond to the good reviews

What a great place. Like all places in Memphis at the moment, it was super quiet, but we got a lovely warm welcome. The place has a great decor and vibe about it. We had the steak special and the burger. It was really delicious. The staff are super friendly and after our meal a lovely lady showed us the speakeasy room behind the bar, very unusual. Definitely recommend ..

I went there to get a drink after finding out my grandma died. I was there with a friend and we were talking about how nice it is for staff to get gratuities included in all checks. I guess the bartender was listening in to our conversation and somehow decided I said she shouldn’t get a tip. She said I was pissing her off and when my friend tried to correct her she walked off. She slammed my drink down so hard multiple people turned around and looked at her. After that I didn’t even want my drink. I never even took one sip of it. I don’t even think I touched the glass. She still charged me for it. The only upside is that her unreasonable anger towards me for something I didn’t even say did take my mind off my situation for a bit. The atmosphere is nice. The place is kinda small but also very cozy.
