This was my first visit here so haven’t had a lot from the menu but have to say food was mediocre for the price. Portions good but fairly bland (had the soba noodles). Server was nice though. The space needs some TLC as is fairly disorganized looking. Probably better options out there.
I wouldn’t go back here. We should have realized something was up when we walked in on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one other group of people eating in the entire restaurant but we went ahead anyway. The menu selection was an odd mix of run of the mill Japanese food and a couple Korean dishes. Portion sizes were small for the price. Service was slow even though they were not busy. Ordered a drink and asked the waitress what kind of rums they had available, she didn’t know and made me walk over to the bar with her for some reason? When I got my drink it was the smallest rum and coke I’ve ever seen in my life and wasn’t even filled all the way, I asked if they could at least add a little more coke to fill up the extra inch or so of empty space in the glass and then they charged me for adding coke to my glass?! For some reason the tuna roll I got was drowning in sriracha and spicy mayo and when I told one of the waiters that it didn’t say that was going to be on there and I didn’t like it he just kind of went “oh” and walked away. Also there were only 3 of us dining and they added a 15% service charge to each of our bills? What? Is this normal for this area because I’ve never heard of such a thing for such a small party.
Ok first thing first let me explain the only just a tiny bit of a bad waiter serving can do a lot better this Pakistani man was not being a good listener i am not saying i didn't enjoy the food it is a little wrong he is not speaking up with a good loud appropriate voice and i don't appreciate i have to circle a dish i want to order i am not complaining my honest opinion the food rating is 7.8 out of 10 they cover the sign on on purpose not badly but it really didn't have a lot of food options it is having an food outage . ???
Parking: There was 20th dollar parking it is not good .

I went To bluefin for a friends birthday dinner. 12/27/22 first my waiter didn’t even know the menu properly and was confused on what we ordered. He forgot to even give us drinks at first, until we reminded him we ordered waters. Our waiter had a language barrier however us not understanding him was not the problem. Our problem was his lack of ability to even do his job correctly. He brought us the wrong order multiple times and even forgot half of our orders. This restaurant was very unprofessional. The food was very cold as well. Once we got our checks they charged up for multiple things that we didn’t order. I do Not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very disappointed AND HEAVILY FRUSTRATED with the service and food.
Sushi was amazing, service as well however "korean bibimbap" that they had was inedible and calling it a "bibimbap" is almost offensive.Flavorless, burnt rice mixed with chicken and some fried vegetables. The cook didn't even bother to serve it the way original bibimbap is served.Just stick with japanese food :)
We took a class trip down to Memphis for the day, and found that this was SUPPOSEDLY one of the best sushi resteraunts in town. However, that was not the case. First, I called twice, asking for a reservation for 20 people. They stated that they “could not take that many people in, since 4:30-5 was such a busy time” for them. Then, I called again, asking if we could split tables again, and they cut me off saying it was too busy for 20 people at that time. We showed up anyway, and there was nobody there, and they seated us in the 2 big private rooms. There were plenty, plenty, PLENTY of space for more than 20 people. Our waitress was very quiet, but she tried to do her best. However, she did not speak much, and when we tried to get her attention by saying, “Ma’am, excuse me?” at least 4 times, she ignored us and walked out. Now I know 20 people is a lot to serve and there will be mistakes made, but there were many orders that she did not write down, and some people did not get their food until an hour and a half later. Now let’s get started on the food: the sushi was great. However, the hibachi, stir fried food was not. Everyone’s hibachi and stir fry were bland and weirdly sweet, like the taste of Brioche breadcrumbs. I got the Yaki Soba Vegetable noodles, and they were basically spaghetti noodles with oil, a drop of soy sauce, and I could COUNT how many broccoli, carrots, and zucchini there were. There were 4 pieces of broccoli, 3 pieces of carrots, and 1 SINGLE EDGE of a zucchini. That was supposedly $13.99. I also got (3) 2 pieces of nigiri, and for 2 pieces, it was 7 dollars. My total was approximately 45$, which was definitely not worth it. Unless you are planning to get just sushi, for hibachi, I would definitely go elsewhere.
Waiter was somewhat rude and pushy. Food was just ok at best. Took forever to get the food and it was only us and one other table in the restaurant at 5pm. Total of 4 people and they seemed to not be able to handle "the rush"
The ambiance, food, and service was amazing! ? I was a bit skeptical at first to try the Chicken Hibachi to my wonderful surprise, it was REALLY GOOD! I scraped every drop in my mouth. I definitely recommend trying this dish.
Great and personable service, swift table service, and food was delicious. Missed visiting this place, so it was time!
It’s not the same. I won’t be back. Brought a friend here from out of town and was embarrassed at how terrible everything tasted and No bartender. Cute atmosphere…

Poke bowl was good I never had one. Fresh fish is good, not great, not excellent, but good. Service was very quick of course I was probably the only one here when I sat down, lol.
Prime location, outdoor seating is ideal for people watching on this main street. The service was quick. Nothing really stood out about this place. I ordered a sushi roll but never received it, my server hadn't put it in, he recalled as he was presenting the check, offered it to go..but I wasn't interested in room temperature sushi.
Celebrated my queen's birthday there around noon yesterday on July 19th and I must say I'm impressed. We got there kind of early and we were lucky enough to be the first customers of the day probably. We had the BB king roll and the sexy roll along with an order of sesame seeded chicken. Everything was prepared really well. Memphis if you're looking for an exclusive getaway with great food and atmosphere then this establishment gets my highest rating. We will continue to come here as long as they are operational.Really catered to us and staff was the upmost hospitable. Hey check out their hibachi in the evenings .????? ??? ? ????? ????
Our server was amazing. The food was great. The sushi rolls was the best. I will definitely come back for the quality of food and service.
My children and I came here to celebrate my son's 16th birthday. The food was amazing; especially the sushi rolls. It's been several years since the last time we came to this restaurant. Though it appears to have new owners, they didn't miss a beat. We had the top floor to ourselves, and it was nice. We will be returning. You have to try the sushi rolls. They are AMAZING! ?
