We saw Blind Mississippi sing and play the harmonica in the back with a band and it was just amazing , our bar maid was super at her job and the food and drinks were great- highly recommend that bar in the bar for live music!

We had late night eats here when everything else on Beale was closing down last Monday.

The service was great, our waitress was friendly, fast, and just the right amount of attentive without being overbearing.

I had the pot roast stew which was absolutely fantastic and a side order of catfish which was delicious too.

My wife had tamales and chili which she really enjoyed and our friend had shrimp which was a huge portion for the price and tasted amazing.

The pecan pie with ice cream to finish was the perfect dessert.

Wish we had stayed in Memphis a second night to give more of the menu a taste.

Definitely a spot worth hitting if you are in the area.

Good food, great service, fun place. We were just around for some light food so we ordered a piece of chicken tender and a side portion of pork BBQ, both of which tasted yum. Portion was perfect for the price. Not too expensive. Just right. Our server Ella was very friendly and chatted with us before we left. Other customers weren’t too loud but maybe because we were there so late, around 11 pm. But even then, the atmosphere was still fun.

My wife and I spent two nights in Memphis recently. we ate at Blues City Cafe two nights in a row. The first night we had the BBQ ribs, and they were the best I've ever had. The restaurant was so good we went back the second night and had the best ribeye steak I've ever had in my entire life. If you're in the Memphis area, make sure you go to Blues City Cafe. It is totally awesome.

After being dropped off on Beal street we were in search of a place that served the great Memphis BBQ and we kept hearing about. Our tour guide suggested Blues City Cafe and we were not disappointed. On top of the best hush puppies I’ve ever had the fall of The bone ribs were top tier! If you’re looking for a place that shouts Memphis along with a great atmosphere and customer service go to Blues City Cafe!!!
