Absolutely the best. Catfish was exceptional and the ribs were very tender. Our server, Luby, was so friendly and our beverage glasses were constantly filled. We came back later to watch basketball and our bartender Alex was engaging and attentive. All of the employees are friendly and committed to making certain that guests are well taken care of. A truly awesome experience.
Our first lunch in Memphis was at Blues City Cafe, and it was a good start to the trip to get some BBQ. The service was friendly and quick, and the ribs and catfish platter hit the spot—plenty for two to share. The ribs were messy but flavorful with a sweet sauce.\n \nIn the evenings, live bands play next door, which is worth checking out for some authentic Memphis music. Only downside—our bartender was a bit crabby and made us think twice about going back.
After having so much BBQ, we opted to have the tamales and chili-restaurant stated best in town. We truly liked them. The BBQ looked incredible though. It’s highly recommended by others
